![]() Author has written 11 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Anime X-overs, Fruits Basket, Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, Glass Fleet/ガラスの艦隊, Kingdom Hearts, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, and Final Fantasy VII. Name: Lockea A. Stone Age: Twenty-two (oh, god, I'm old) Gender: Princess (it's an inside joke) Location: About an hour away from Disney World (Nya-nya) Occupation: Dirt poor grad school student Contacts: Fictionpress as Lockea Stone, DA as Lockea, LJ as lockea_stone, Gaia as Lockea, AO3 as Lockea About Me: I'm a writer, a cosplayer, and a mathematician. In fact, I'm a better mathematician than I am a writer, most days. I'm fairly easy going and like to laugh and joke around, something you'll probably notice in review replies and author's notes. I'm seldom as serious as my novels and fanfiction are, because for as much as I'm obsessed with the dark, the tragedy, and the angst, I'm a rather upbeat and silly person. I tend to focus first and foremost on my very busy school life, second on my friends who are slowly all leaving me for the real world (T_T) and finally on my writing. Writing is a form of stress relief for me, but often times I am plagued by the fact that I write best at 4 am, and when I am awake at 4 am it is usually because I have work I need to do and therefore I am not writing. Seriously. Still, I try to write as much as possible and try to post as often as I can. It's not much, but I try. I'm currently invested in 3 original novels and the fanfictions listed below. Because of this, my LJ is often the best place to go check for updates as it is often updated first, followed by a few days later. AO3 will fit somewhere into the update scheme, but I'm still getting a feel for that site/account so don't expect much over there. LJ is by and far the best way to keep up with me, but you MUST (due to the nature of my friends locked posts) be 18 before I will add you as friend over there. Fanfictions Sleeping Angels (Final Fantasy VII): AU. Soldiers are nothing more than monsters in human skin. Bioweapons, for use in Shinra's quest for global domination. Like all weapons, the Soldiers have Handlers, and those Handlers are the real heroes of Shinra. 18-year-old Zack Fair is a young Handler who has just received his Soldier, untrained 15-year-old Cloud, a vicious beast whose last Handler made the mistake of letting his guard down around him, and who lost his life to his Soldier. Zack knows just how dangerous being a Handler can be, but nothing can prepare him for dealing with his angelic faced Demon. As Zack struggles to train his unruly Soldier, he finds unexpected guidance and friendship in Handler Angeal Hewley, whose Soldier Sephiroth is the most powerful of Shinra's monsters. Angeal has a different view of Soldiers, one which directly conflicts with conventional wisdom regarding the beasts. Yet it's under Angeal's mentoring that Zack makes a startling discovery -- Cloud is human after all, albeit one who has been tortured into a feral state -- and with that discovery Zack makes a promise. That promise, however, will change the world forever. More importantly, however, it will help two broken souls begin to heal. Forgotten Melody (Tales of Symphonia): What if the Desians had gotten to Anna before Dirk did? A child without an identity, shaped by the world around him, grows up a slave and experiment in Asgard Human Ranch. As Kratos struggles between loyalty to his former student and the paternal instinct to protect a child in need, the child quickly becomes a pawn in a much greater chess game. His only hope to break free lies in another of Cruxis’ pawns, the Chosen Colette. But as both embark on a journey not just to save the world, but to save themselves, it soon becomes apparent that the once identity-less child must assume a role he never dreamed possible; that of a hero and a savior. A Thousand Years Apart (Warchild Series by Karen Lowachee): They make a portrait, on the terminal screen before him, so happy and together, waiting. Jakob is an engineer, married with a beautiful daughter who looks like him, all gold hair and big blue eyes. Isobel doesn't smile, traumatized by a life spent in a refugee camp, but she's getting better day by day. She's thriving instead of just surviving now. His mother smiles at him like she smiles at all her children and grandchild. She has her family back -- her son and her daughter live with her, and her oldest son, her Yurochka, speaks with her through com links on the Macedon when he can. Some day, he promises, he will come home to her too. Yet he's not so sure if his family really wants him back. After all, who could possibly ever love a pirate, a murderer, and a whore like him?
