Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, Hobbit, and Akame ga Kiru/アカメが斬る. Hi! My pen name is Katerina Rose! You can call me Kitty, or Kat, or Rose, or whatever floats your boat. I'm not picky as long as it's not George or something. I'm 16 years old and as close to an avid fangirl as you can get! Original, I know. And I will admit, I have watched awful TV shows for the sole sake of a hot character. I'm a teenage girl what on earth do you expect. I'm a sucker for the sappy, I love to write and act, I draw on occasion, am taking AP photography next year and basically have a lot of talent in fields that get you no where in life. I would LOVE to be an actress but there's no way in hell I'm gonna end up as a waitress in NYC "waiting to be discovered". I mean, come on. I'm a dreamer and a wisher but I try to be practical. I'm incredibly knit-picky about reading. I like realistic characters and I hate hate HATE cliches. When I write something and I find myself in a situation where a cliche is the only option I cringe, write it, and then bring notice to how utterly cliche it is. IE: "He was intentionally holding back information, just to be a riddling and superior buttface. It was moronically cliche and it pissed me off." Here's something though: I'm a strict fantasy nerd. I don't know what it is, I just can't stand non-fantasy. I'm also incredibly picky about writing style, and although I loved The Fault in Our Stars I couldn't finish it. See, I have this thing where I may or may not be but definitely am severely ADHD. If I'm going to sit down and ready something for three hours, it doesn't just have to be good. Reading and writing are doors. I will never get the chance to laugh at a live dragon or find out my patronum because I live in a magic-less world. When I read, I want to be taken somewhere beyond the paths my feet can walk. If it's something about this world today I'm usually not interested. My fiction interests include, but are not limited to, Harry Potter, Sword Art Online, Angel Beats, Teen Wolf, The Hobbit and Lord of the rings. . I also love cats, consider myself to be a hardcore Hufflepuff (I even bought a jacket for $70 O.o), and have...erm...commitment issues? I have a nasty habit of starting things (particularly stories) and never finishing. If you love a particular fic of mine and I seem to be neglecting it, please, tell me! Also, if you have a request for a fic of mine, for a character or a plot line, done be shy! I won't promise I'll make it happen, but it never hurts!! . I look forward to posting and reading fanfic in the near future! Feel free to message me and all of that jazz. I don't bite. OC profiles for Down the Hobbit Hole: Celegnir: A high soldier in Elrond's guard, renowned for his swift feet and fleet-footedness. He is of no close relation to any renowned or Elves in high positions, and so his rising in Elrond's military ranks is solely due to his admirable skill. He is one of Elrond's generals, and an excellent war strategist. He was among the ranks dispatched from Rivendell and led by Glorfindel to join the cavalry of Gondor, led by Prince Eärnur at the Battle of Fornost. It was in this fight against the hosts of Angmar where Celegnir gained his reputation as an astounding warrior. His father fell during the same battle, which some credit to be Celegnir's continued drive to train and work towards becoming an even greater warrior. This, and his fighting under the charge of Glorfindel. He often mentions his thankfulness in being given the opportunity to fight alongside Glorfindel, and admires the famous Elf immensely. Celegnir is a determined and courageous Elf, although he is often witty and enjoys humor. He is an appointed coach in training Elrond's military and sustaining their skills. His pleasant and entertaining personality makes him a leader who is easy to follow. Calemirhan and Calemirdor: They are twin brothers and named for their emerald-green eyes. As close relatives to Erestor, Elrond's chief adviser, the brothers were put in similar but lower positions- they act as attendants to Elrond and are usually welcomed at his table. They have military training, but their responsibilities revolve around serving Elrond in his court and administrating and overseeing the general day-to-day Rivendell life. On occasion they are sent out to other Elven territories to deliver news and sustain a political relationship with them and Rivendell. They are well known throughout the different Elven territories, and have developed many friends in many places. Calemirhan can be testy and quickly annoyed at times, while Calemirdor is more quiet and calm. Both brothers treasure the other's Company. Calemirdor is also a song writer, and Calemirhan is sometimes a record-keeper for Elrond's meetings. |
