Hello! You may call me Shini, and this is my newest FanFiction account! :D Woo-hoo, right? I'm a very cynical, sarcastic person, and you can probably figure that out just by reading my stories. I love to laugh, but can come across as rather dark. Just call me a walking-talking oxymoron--heavy on the moron. I don't hesitate to make fun of myself, and I welcome all to join in! (6/9/14) I'm just here to allow the public to read my stories, and hopefully become a better writer from your critic. But do not expect me to update regularly. Yes, it is summer, but I am working on having a life outside of my mind (shocking, right? Who knew they were so expensive. I need to see if Wal-Mart sells them...) I have another account that I share with my sister (JetAndKaiki if you wish to know) in which I go by the name Jet. I have decided to make a new account, solely my own. As such, I figured a change of names was due. And, because I have a story or two on the other account that I find dear to my heart, I might even transfer them over here.

(7/25/14) Sorry I haven't posted anything, though I don't think anyone's noticed... Some exciting news, my lovelies! I start college in less than a month! Which is really good for me, because I'm now a NEET who's borderline Hikikomori... But not so good for you, as I'll probably not post very regularly... Anywho, I just posted the first chapter of Saisho Kara Yarinaosu, so check it out? I have three or four more chapters already written (and all are longer than the first!), but I don't feel like posting them tonight. Sue me. But they will (bold and italic, that means it's important!) get published soon! Like, within the next several days! Soo be on the look-out for that! Oh, and the chick as the cover photo? That's Kasomi in case you wanted to know! I think that's all I wanted to tell you guys, so I'll be going. *Random Prussia walks in and smiles at audience as he drinks his beer* "Read her story! (1/28/15) Okay, I've been a really bad person lately. But it's not my fault! I've had a hard time with school, which is weird since I've always found it to be pretty easy. And then my depression had gotten pretty bad, so I hadn't been able to write much, if at all. BUT I do believe I am past that now! So, woo-hoo! I have switched computers and haven't gotten all of Saisho switched over to my laptop. Because of this, I am putting it on a temporary(?) hiatus. Please don't be mad. I do, however, have a new Fairy Tail fanfic that I have been working on recently on this laptop and decided to share it with you. So at least you have that to look forward to, right? This is also different from anything I have ever written before, as it's in third-person. This is kinda big for me, believe it or not. I would love to hear what you think! Thanks, lovelies!

(6/25/15) I know, I'm a terrible author. But I have an excuse! I have been working! And playing and cleaning up after puppies all day almost every day may seem easy, but it's actually hard work. So I'm exhausted 99% of the time. But I felt like writing, so I decided to write. :D Yay! New Sanity chapter!! Also, I have some (possibly) exciting news! I have decided to start writing a One Piece fanfic! Exciting, right? I will post some details down bellow, so be sure to check that out! Good night, my lovelies!

(1/20/16) Happy (late) New Year, my lovelies! For some reason, I have been in a very creative mood as of late. Good news for you, as that meant 4 (yes, you read correctly, four) new Sanity chapters in a 24-hour period! Yay! I will be posting some more to Akagami Shiro Neko soon as well! In fact, I've been feeling so creative, I decided I wanted to resume writing Saisho Kara Yarinaosu, too!! So I decided to re-read what I have already posted. And just imagine my surprise when I find that it is missing a chapter! Gasp! :O So I am having my sister send me what I have already written for it from my other computer so that I can continue! Joy all around!

(2/7/2017) I haven't updated my profile in over a year (._.) Well, damn. A lot has happened in the past year, both in my life and in the worlds of anime. So I have a few things to say! First, Sanity is now being put on hiatus. I have been very bad with Fairy Tail, like I can't even remember the last time I watched it, let alone read it. But my sister keeps up to date with it and has told me some recent events have thrown a huge wrench in where I planned to take Sanity. I may chose to continue it sometime in the future, but not right now. Akagami Shiro Neko, on the other hand, is doing just fine. I don't read One Piece very often, but I keep update with the anime (both Dubbed and Subbed). I think because I watch it so often, I just keep getting more and more ideas. So with over 60 pages typed in Word for ASN, it is looking good! I have also decided that once it is finished, I will post several one-shots about Elle and the twins. Mostly little stories that happened before ASN or right after. So look forwards to that!

(4/26/2017) I work graveyard shifts (roughly) twice a week. That is when I do the majority of my anime binge-watching/manga-reading/FanFic-writing. It's nice, 'cause I basically get paid to do all of that. But today, as I was writing the NSFW part of Chapter 17 of Akagami Shiro Neko, I had a guest come in. Yeah. I had to look at pictures of this old guy's baby granddaughter while my mind was still working out how to write the smut. Interesting experience, to say the least! Anyway, I just wanted to post how happy I am to have typed 115 pages (in word) for ASN. That is roughly 200 pages of a standard paper-back novel! You have no idea how happy that makes me, and I have all of you to thank! So thank you for reading my silly story!

(1/23/2019) Well, look at that. I haven't updated my profile in almost two years. At least I've updated Akagami Shiro Neko more recently then that (if only because I updated today lol). But I just wanted to give you guys a full update on my hectic life and the reason(s) why I haven't updated the story very much recently. In June of 2017, the house I was renting a bedroom from was sold. This was great news, as the damn thing had been on the market for the better part of 7 years. But that put me in an awkward position. The town that I lived in was a summer town, so it was nearly impossible for me to find a new place to live. When I finally did, it was way out of my price range (and tbh, not 100% habitable--maaayyybbeee 75% if I'm being generous), but was still close to my work. Thankfully, I only signed a 6-month lease, so that put me at a great time to find a new, better place to live--or, at least that was the plan.

Unfortunately, the town that I lived in had a sever housing crisis. More and more people were turning away from long-term rentals in favor of more short-term (like AirBNB). This meant that I moved 45 minutes away to a different town at the beginning of 2018. I didn't think it was too bad at first. But driving nearly an hour one-way, the majority of which was a windy mountain road, grew old very fast. A few times I wasn't even able to go home, as the roads were too icy and/or the weather was too bad. I talked to my work and said that if I were to get a promotion before my lease was up in July, I would figure out how to stay. Otherwise, I was leaving the state. Welp, no promotion, so I turned in my notice and moved 1,200 miles from Colorado to Arizona.

My Grandmother had fled the snow for the heat and I followed her, luckily able to move in with her until I got on my feet. I spent a few months looking for a new job (and staying inside because homie don't play no 115* weather, despite moving to the desert) and luckily found that the company I had worked for was hiring for the exact same position! So I basically got my job back! Shortly after that, I found an apartment and was finally standing firm once more. A bunch of other shit happened, of course, knocking me flat on my ass. But I am standing back up and decided to advance myself by writing again! So I posted a new chapter for ASN today, with hopes of more in the near future.

I hope this small explanation lets you guys know that I didn't forget about you or Elle or the twins or even the Little Bastard! I just had life stand in the way for about a year lol Anyway! I love reading all of your reviews and it makes my heart soar when I get an email telling me that one of you Favorited or followed my stories! So I love you all and thank you for giving me such a loving and amazing platform to share my life's joy!

(5/15/2019) Hello, my lovelies! Another profile update in less than four months! It's a miracle! Lol, but seriously. I just wanted to let you guys know that I haven't forgotten my writing. I am planning on posting a new chapter of ASN tonight, but if I don't get to it, sue me. But I have some other exciting news that I wanted to share with y'all! I have recently discovered My Hero Academia and, let's just say, it had been an incredible ride. And that my love for assholes is starting to become a problem. Because I have decided to start a new fic for it! With our favorite homeroom teacher, Mr. Shouta Aizawa, as the lead love interest! :D

While I love this story, I just wanted you guys to know that I hold ASN very dear to my heart. It is my longest running fanfic and, despite the (very) erratic updating, it is still alive and well. I've been working on it for almost three years and it has never even come close to dying on me, much like all of my other fics have. I think part of that may be the fact that One Piece is still on-going and that I watch it all the time, but still. So I am going to continue to post new chapters for it. The MHA fic might not receive the same love, however, so be prepared.

Anyway! I hope you continue to enjoy my dreams! :3

(8/18/19) Good day, all! Shini here with another update for ya! But, *gasp* this time it's related to ASN without actually being apart of it! That's right, y'all! It's a surprise spin-off! My new story (or, rather, collection of One-Shots) The Siren of the East Blue (SOTEB) is comprised of 9 songs I feel fit Elle. I wrote little stories surrounding the songs to go with when and where she would sing them.

I just loved the lullaby I had Elle sing in one of the first chapters that it sort of built up an aspect of her character that I hadn't thought of before. This aspect of Elle, the Siren, has been apart of her since, though I haven't gotten to put much of that in the main story. So I am excited to finally be able to share more of that side of her with you!

That being said, however, I haven't abandoned either of my current stories. I just haven't felt up to writing much until one night it just hit me that I had to write out SOTEB. This has made me want to continue writing, both in ASN and IDHTMSIIPYO (that's a mouthful; I'll think of a better acronym later). So be patient with me, but please look forward to new chapters!

(3/29/20) Hello, my lovelies! It is I, Shini! I have returned! I know it's been a while, but here me out. I had someone who holds my heart move in with me, so I have been devoting most of my love and attention to him, rather than Shanks. But alas, my heart has also fallen in love with ASN and has been nagging me to write a new chapter.

I decided to oblige. Mostly because I just finished Cresent City by Sarah J. Maas (seriously--if you haven't read this, or any of her books, stop right now and go read them!) and found my mind stuck in Lunathion with Bryce and Hunt (and Ruhn!). This tends to happen when I read really good books and just want to keep reading in that world, nothing else will do. So I said fuck it and finished writing the new chapter.

Expect the next chapter to be along fairly quickly (since I am being pestered to continue it right now by my heart). Hope you all enjoy my dreams!
