I'm a university student, currently completing my master's degree, which explains—but does not excuse—my slow update schedule.

I've always enjoyed writing but only started taking it seriously last year. I can't remember what I did with my spare time before that, although I did make a first attempt at fanfiction years and years ago. There's a reason I deleted that story, though. My run-on sentences had run-on sentences, and that was the least terrible thing about it.

I'm open to constructive feedback. Don't worry about hurting my feelings. You'll never be as harsh as my criminal law professor who read aloud students' test scores as he handed them out and made snide comments about every single essay.

I have an AO3 account under the same username if you prefer reading fics on that website, but I haven't got around to posting any of my one-shots there yet.

One of the reasons my writing has improved so much since that first terrible story is a Harry Potter writing competition called The International Wizarding School Championship. It's a game—or a contest, depending on how competitive you are—that offers creative challenges, beta reading, reviews, and detailed feedback. I wrote all my one-shots for that competition. My Harry Potter series: These fics cover the events of Prisoner of Azkaban onwards with one alteration to canon that affects the rest of the storyline, namely Sirius Black had an illegitimate child before he got locked up. I wouldn't call this series a fix-it (although the title of the second fic may give that impression). A story needs conflict to be interesting, so don't expect too many butterflies and rainbows.
