Jacob English is a boy living in Hope that is ruled by the Prince of the Heart Kingdom. The Prince is antisocial, and no one has seen him in years. Meanwhile, Jacob longs for an adventure outside of his boring little village, and does just that. Suddenly, he finds the reclusive prince's castle, and befriends him. Once this happens, Jacob's world is changed for the worse.
