![]() Author has written 1 story for Wizards of Waverly Place. Next FanFic Update: Some time between Wednesday 12th and Friday 14th November 2014 (the rest of chapter nine, that is. I'll hopefully be able to write at least some of chapter ten next week). I love art - in all its forms. A book, a painting, a movie, the effort that goes into every decision to create something, to make it breathe. I want to write and I want to appreciate what's already been written, so I made this account. I'm Myra (let's just say that's a code name - sort of, my username is also a partial anagram. I like pretending to be a spy, okay?) and I'm a 17-year-old student in the UK, soon to be applying to study English Literature at university. I've been busy, and a little bit scared of the craft, so I have to admit I haven't written in quite a while - but I'm here to change that. I won't ever write fan fiction about a show I think is perfect or perfectly imperfect. Even if I wish something else had happened, if it actually fits with the decisions that a character would make and the tone of the show (provided that the tone couldn't do with being a tad darker, oh you shows who refuse to give into your subtext, you), I'm not going to change it. What I will write about are shows, books and films which interest me but gave me a reason for disappointment - there's nothing which motivates me more than a good dose of wasted potential - in the hopes that by doing that, I will be satisfied and able to put the thing to rest. And, you know, wannabe writer here - gotta hone my skill. I also join fandoms too late. A lot. So while I'm not prepared to join some mass, thriving community (most places I visit on here are going to be ghost-towns which nonetheless contain some very interesting architecture), it would be exciting to know that someone other than myself is actually seeing the things I write, so don't hesitate to say hi. - Myra |
