![]() Author has written 27 stories for Frozen, Metroid, Little Mermaid, and Star Wars. The film Frozen has unlocked my imagination, inspiring me to write for the first time in my life, sharing my stories with others. As a result, I have, unintentionally but eagerly, created a sub-universe of the Frozen canon unto my own, in which characters from the film mingle with original characters. I have also ended up creating many races that dwell within this universe, including: Men, who live primarily in Arendelle and the villages throughout the Continent; the ice bærers, also known as the Wanderers, who are able to summon ice and snow; and the brann wielders, or flame bearers, a race that lives in the western mountains that can conjure flame and heat. All three of these races have developed complicated histories that I cannot summarize in this profile. I believe that an effective writer, if he is to create a believable world, must have the language and history of that world firmly in his mind in order for readers to accept this universe as believable. I present backstory in my works, but only as it relates to the plot; I do not believe in hammering the reader over the head with unnecessary information. Tolkien has been my greatest influence in this respect, but, as a child, I fell in love with Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain and have been unquestionably inspired by those works as well. I write these stories because I want to share them, but also because I want to challenge myself to create something truly epic and unique. This universe consists of two main elements: the main series, in which the principal plot unfolds, and what I call "side stories": separate entries of varying lengths that don't continue the main plot, but supplement it with character development, mythology, and mini-stories that provide little adventures of the characters. If you have never read any of my works, I suggest you begin at the beginning, as I use original elements quite extensively and don't do a lot of explaining in each story about what they are. The order of the series is: 1. Voices 2. The Head That Wears the Crown 2a. Hush, My Sister 3. The Sins of the Father 3a. Alúvelin, Bearer of Light 3b. The Color of My Soul 3c. With These Hands, I Give You Music 3d. I Won't Be Fooled 4. The Storm Rages On 4a. Wounds That Time Cannot Heal 4b. Tell Me It Gets Better 5. Love Will Thaw 6. The Tides of Destruction 7. Closure If you are interested, take the journey with me as I explore this world. I appreciate any and all feedback, as long as it is constructive and helpful. Hopefully, you will find something that you like as well. Be prepared, however, for spirituality to tinge my works; my Catholic faith is inextricably linked, it seems, to my creativity.
