Author has written 1 story for Fallout.

I am a LCDR in the US Navy and work on the ballistic missile program which may explain my fascination with the nuclear apocalypse genre. I moved to Washington D.C. about 4 years ago which was around the same time my son began to play Fallout III. Commuting through the streets and metro tunnels of D.C. by day and watching my son run around post-apocalyptic D.C. in the evenings inspired me to attempt to write a fanfiction story.

Originally I wasn't going to follow the game storyline much at all. In fact, I began by writing a couple chapters about the people of Vault Zero. But the more I studied the game and Bethesda's characters and plot lines, the more interested I became in trying to add some meat to the bones of their fascinating world. The has too much interesting information to ignore - but my early attempt does explain why I messed up some of the Fallout III canon. Some major differences being the fact that: the LW is searching for his mother vice father, the LW's father created the west coast FEV, and I'm about 100 years off the game timeline. But I guess its too late to be a purest now...

In my head I pictured developing the Fallout III storyline in several "books". Book I: The Wanderer would be followed by Book II: The Initiate and Book III: The Knight. Maybe even Book IV: The Paladin if i don't run out of in-game and DLC material and if I can stay motivated enough to get that far...

It is amazing how much time and dedication it takes... but, of course, if you're reading this then you are probably a writer and you already know that...

Thank you again for all the support.
