Gen 8 is great. Are there any issues with the games? Yes. Did I still love the game. Yes, but for many reasons. That being said my top 10 Pokemon list and my other tier list will be getting a major update and revamp soon.

1. Contestshipping Yeah pretty much it. Althought I have little tolerance for Negaishipping.

Favorite regions in order (including games and Anime):

1. Hoenn, I just really love everything about the region. From the adventure to the pokemon. The anime wasn't the best out of all of them, but it was good, and the games are amazing. The remakes especially took everything I loved, and re-established it.

2. Alola, okay so the games are really making this a top contender, and the anime is starting off well too. Let's see how it continues, but already off to a good start.

3. Sinnoh, yes the anime in my opinion is the second best behind Kalos, but the games aren't top contenders.

4. Kalos, the anime by far is the best one, but the games weren't all the hype made them out to be. Sure it was entertaining and experiencing 3D for the first time was epic, but it faded soon after.

5. Kanto, sadly there has just been so much to surpass this. Although nostalgia is wanting me to put this higher, I just can't in good conscious do so with so much more out now.

6. Unova, the games really saved this. The anime is bad, but then when you reach the league it changes to a more bearable progression. The games though are great. Some of the best pokemon are from this region.

7. Johto, the games were a bit of a let down, especially with the level system. The remakes were amazing, but overall with the anime as well, it wasn't the best. I know it was a good time, and it really helped pokemon continue to the franchise it is now, but in my opinion, the above mentioned just stand out more.

Favorite generations in order. There is a difference as this is only games.

1. Gen 3, Hoenn and the Kanto remakes. Really, this is mostly because for the whole fourth generation I was stuck playing these games over and over again because my family didn't have enough money for a ds and the games. When fifth gen came out, I had enough money saved to buy them myself and black and white. Instead of becoming boring, these games really grew on me and I loved them. It's the reason why so much of my top ten is dominated by Hoenn pokemon.

2. Gen 7, I mean what can I say, this has started and will hopefully go strong. It opened up a new era of pokemon that I am so excited for.

3. Gen 5, the games were really great. A nice, incredible storyline and journey throughout the region. The only downside in this was the ending and the BW rivals. I liked how the rivals in BW were more friends trying to find there path, but I missed a rival like Blue, Silver and Barry.

4. Gen 4, Sinnoh and Johto remakes. In all honesty, probably the most balanced group. Diamond and Pearl were decent, but their lack of pokemon especially fire types to create actual mono teams for the gym leaders and E4 was a bit annoying. Platinum, Heartgold and Soulsilver were really great, especially the Johto remakes, but again a slow start in general really holds this back.

5. Gen 6, Kalos and Hoenn remakes. To be honest, the only thing that really stood out was Mega evolution, and the Hoenn remakes. I loved those dearly, but X and Y were too lacking for this generation to be any higher.

6. Gen1, Kanto and the first ever games. Although this holds a special place in my heart for being the first generation and what started it all, the others can be more entertaining, unless you're playing the Rom. Then you can randomize it and do a Nuzlocke. Granted a Nuzlocke can be done in the real game, but still.

7. Gen 2, Just, not enough. It stands out the least to me, and before people say oh I'm some new guy or whatever. I've been playing since I was four. I started with Red and Blue, and progressed all the way to now Alola. These honestly just don't speak like the other games though.

I have decided to venture out of the Pokémon fanfiction world and have discovered a new alternate, Harry Potter. Along with it I have realized many things I would like differently with the Harry Potter books and more reasons to add why they are a great series. Here is a list of my new favorite pairings for them.

1. Harm Harry and Hermione. Yes after rereading the books in a new light, I have concluded that this would have been better than Harry and Ginny, although I have no bias against it, I still think that this could've been better now.

2. Haphne= Harry and Daphne Greengrass

3. Harry and Susan

4. Harry and Ginny.

5. Huna- Harry and Luna

6. Lunar Harm- Harry, Hermione, and Luna.

Yes I read multi pairing fics, as long as they're not bad I'll read them.
