First of all, I'm 28. My name's Emma and I'm from the United States. I'm married to an amazing guy, don't judge, I got married when I was 21, but when you know it's real, you know. If you can't tell from the statement, I'm a bit of a romantic, and I'm definitely a dreamer. My husband works and is gone for 2 weeks here and there (oilfield, lol, it's a struggle) and writing sort of helps me pass the time when I'm not at work or online gaming.

I've probably been writing poems, original short stories and stuff since I was around 12, I just never submitted anything anywhere before, and I only recently discovered fanfiction -reading and writing wise- when I found this site, thanks to a friend of mine who reads stuff on here all the time. Go easy on me, I've never actually tried this whole sharing of stories thing before. And I would not have, if I hadn't been coerced, to be honest, because I personally think that my writing sucks.

I prefer classic rock & hard rock to pop music and I really don't like Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber all that much. I guess it's my age, I just don't get how they appeal to so many people. I like a few of Taylor's songs, but other than that, just don't get it, I suppose. If I honestly had to pick an artist though, I'd probably pick Led Zepplin or The Beatles, the Ramones. I love their music, I listen to it for hours on end.

This might seem stupid and childish, but when I was probably around 15, discovered the Harry Potter series of books and movies, and to this day, I am still a huuuuuge Harry Potter fan. I also like certain aspects of Twilight, *ahem, cough* TEAMWEREWOLF! okay, so as far as Twilight goes, I've more or less only gotten into that series of movies/books because of the shifters. The vampires are not my cup of tea and Bella annoys me to no end. Other book series I've read are pretty much the entire Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice's vampires are so much better, tbh.) and I'm currently attempting to read 50 Shades, though this one just sort of baffles me, I mean I thought it was supposed to be erotic, it's.. It's something, just not sure if I'd call it erotic, per se. I've read almost everything Stephen King's ever written, and I've gotten into reading Nicholas Sparks in the past few years. But my alltime favorite book ever will forever and always be The Outsiders. And I loved the movie version too.

As far as tv, I watch shows like General Hospital, which I've been a fan of since I was maybe 8, even though right now, I'm currently so pissed at the blatant assassination of several characters I actually LIKED before now, and I love Supernatural. I watch Paranormal Investigations when I can, and I love several series that are now sadly dead, like Angel and Charmed, Buffy, Gilmore Girls.. I tried getting into TrueBlood, but I just don't know if it'll happen for me, given I always miss the damn show. I watch CSI and Criminal Minds, but not really often enough to know what's even going on, and I watch NCIS and NCIS LA too, probably a little more than the above mentioned shows.

Oh and I love horror movies. I could watch them all day long. I think my favorite one of all time so far has been Halloween or of course Friday the 13th. And I've recently started watching the remakes for those. I love the Scream series too.

Okay, so as a writer, I have these insane people living right in my head. Sometimes, they can be difficult and more often than not, they're based on me or people I know. I realize that there's some kind of preconcieved notion about original characters, that they're all going to automatically be Mary Sues, but I try my best not to write them that way. And given that I started off writing original short stories, before I started fanfiction, they're pretty much all I feel comfortable using in the romances I write. Plus, yes, I can admit to a certain degree that yes, I am using my original characters to insert myself into the world of whatever work of fiction I'm writing. The stuff below, well, it's about them as I see them. Do I care that some of them are related to canon? Not at all. Do I care what anyone thinks about them being related to and paired with canon? Nope, not in the slightest. But yeah, my original characters are listed below, as I post the stories they're featured in.

UPDATES & SUCH

Everything about my stories and their status updates, things like that will be found here. REVIEWS ARE LOVED and APPRECIATED, and will keep me writing or working on a certain story. If I don't get reviews (not flames/critiques/pointing out errors grammar or otherwise) then I'll probably be less interested in continuing something, because I'll think nobody likes what I've written.

Seeing as how I'm a fangirl, I often like to write my own plot spin on things and I rarely stick to solely canon. I try, however, to leave at least 85 percent of the events that happened in the book/series/movie the same. Unless they just sucked in my opinion, then yeah, I'll do a complete rewrite. I never write a fic centered around a canon pairing. I'm partial to only a select few to be perfectly honest, and I just can't. I do feature my OTP pairings in stories in large doses. So if you're a strictly canon obsessed reader well, you won't like anything I write or have written.

DON'T MAKE IT YOUR MISSION TO FLAME ME THOUGH. NOBODYS FORCING YOU TO READ MY STORIES. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN DON'T KEEP READING IT, DUH.

I hate doing it, but I'm completely abandoning My Not So Boring Life. The idea was short lived and a ton of people have done it already, and way better than me. I do have other stories and I will be uploading them soonish. Just not going to even bother rewriting My Not So Boring Life. Going to start new.
