![]() Author has written 11 stories for Alex Rider, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. And now, a longwinded explanation (read: flimsy excuse) as to why I never update: I update as often as someone with my near-debilitating procrastination and this many neuroses can be expected to; so not that often. I fully intend to sit down and write that epic story I’ve had floating around in my head for months, but I will undoubtedly find something far more interesting to do instead. It’s not that I have a short attention span, I just won’t do it. So getting myself to sit down at my computer and actually write a story is about as difficult as forcing a toddler into a highchair; I kick, I scream, I go board-stiff or boneless, depending on what is most inconvenient, and when I’m finally sitting, I spit food in your face. Suffice to say, it’s not easy. You’re mad that you’re covered in food, I’m mad about being jammed into a highchair, and crew morale is lacking all around. So, generally not a situation conducive to creativity, unless you happen to be writing a manual about cramming toddlers into highchairs. I don’t know how this ended up being more about toddlers than me, but oddly, I’m okay with it. But so you don’t feel gypped: Girl. 23. American. Art history major. Future bum. Carnivale Rewrite Update 4/21/2013: It's going. Yep, it's going. I'm stiiill working on it. |
