Jane's got Casey, her husband, at home, and Maura's got Angela at home, and Maura is completely disgusted with herself for letting her life turn into this, but she can't bring herself to break it off, even though she's slowly starting to hate Jane.

Tumblr Rizzlers suggested a story of, what if Jane and Maura had followed in their fathers' footsteps? Well, I took a shot at trying, and here it is: Jane's a plumber, and Maura's a mob boss.

This is where I'll herd the random one-shots, or hopefully sow inspirational sprouts. I'll try and provide an adequate descriptive summary as an a/n at the start of each chapter, and if anything's drastically sad, I'll place a warning. I have no concrete plans for this; anything happens, anything goes - well, not anything. Rating won't vary.

I'll file it all away, under - experiments; these conversations we seem to never actually have.

Jane has a concussion, and things just start slipping out - absolutely anything that hits Jane's frontal lobe comes out, in a way that makes her more like Maura so even Maura might not completely notice - but Jane doesn't realize she's saying these things out loud, and everyone keeps trying to shuffle them around so they don't accidentally cross lines they don't mean to.

The night air is a little chilly.

No plot really - just wanted some lines out, and some warm fuzzy feelings.

Plays with the idea that italicizing certain words gives them emphasis; basically the same lines, but intent is to deliver different intents and variations. Rizzles of course, in varying situations.

In Spongebob's voice: "What if Maura Isles, was a robot?" [Note: It's simply too overused - this joke - by me...and it has ceased to sound funny or amusing; yet, it's an adequate parameter to use as a summary - the line in quotation marks at least.]

I had seen a post on Tumblr, started a little something at the bottom, and I had needed to finish it, so I brought it here. Just a fast, strange little thing. Note: that was the description then, and will be the description for the summary now - yes, it's a re-upload.

She holds onto the hand that reaches for hers – Jane's. [Note: A really important a/n rests or lies, at the bottom of chapter one.]

The reason is simple - the body is not that of any Doe.

Sometimes maybe - the darkness is just seeking, desperately, for light. [A/N: I'm not sure if there are triggers but, it seems dark (to me) and I'll just rate this 'M' to be on the safe side.]

April, pranks, and fun. It's nice to have someone there, and you just know - that's mostly the theme I suppose. Just a little fun on my part when I wrote it, and now that I've re-read it, tons of fluff.

She wants to hear her calling out her name.

Slowly but surely, Jane lifts the lid. Inside there's a simple manila envelope. It was addressed to her - Jane Rizzoli.

But that time has since passed; it has come and gone, and her best friend looks happy, her best friend looks so happy.

Maura comes into the room with her picnic pants - Lotta Jansdotter - and Jane suggests naughty twister but, Maura has no idea what twister is so...Jane explains the game to her.

Each chapter is a story written for each week of the rizzlesfanficchallenge and don't worry, the content rating doesn't vary. Genres however, might probably vary. As for the characters, I'll just select the main two.

It's the person, not the location. It's the person, definitely the person, and hardly ever the location. Child Jane, and child Maura, meet in a place where I suppose, is scientifically impossible, and they have adventures together.

An AU of how Frank never accepted Jane's sexuality, revolving around certain lines of a scene which were made into a gifset. [A/N has credit mentions; important.]

Jane places the shovel down and stands, padding away the snow on her pants. [A/N: Here's a warning: Genre denotes 'Hurt/Comfort' and if you don't want hurt, don't bother with this story. Thank you.]

The idea and words here, are just special to me; with quotes from the show interwoven into it - making Rizzles (Jane and Maura) and love.

Jane sort of sitting/laying on the couch reading the paper with her arms around Maura, who is sitting on top of Jane, kind of molded together. Maura occasionally swings her feet into Jane's shins and apologizes, while Jane places a kiss on her shoulder to signify that she's forgiven.

Jane sitting on the couch, intensely watching a Red Sox game while her three-year-old daughter sits on her lap, playing a game on Maura's iPad with the same intense look on her face. All while Maura stands in the doorway and snaps a picture of her two favorite people.

There was this Tumblr thing that went around some time back, with Maura having ingested Marijuana, and so, these chapters were just my attempts at keeping a story going. The a/n at the bottom of chapter one might be of interest to you if you choose to read this; it's also where the crediting happens - and that's important.

For forever and forever. [A/N: I've noticed my constant use of a character named 'Maurane' and, this story, explains how her name came to be. It's not a needed read but, I suppose, I should point out that this story explains her name and why I had the thought to create it when I had.]

Jane decides to marry Casey, and Maura gets fed up with Jane doing stupid stuff, so she goes off to Ethiopia before the wedding. Jane is married, Maura is working with Ian in Ethiopia. Jane is miserable without her best friend. Maura is miserable without hers.

Three different scenarios - each chapter is a scenario - all beginning with, "Eeey, you all's still together?" Giovanni asks. "This is mah' cousin, she's into chicks. You will get along," he gestures to his cousin.

Jane is tossed into WitSec after an unfortunate accident involving the mob. Maura, heartbroken, runs away and becomes a kindergarten school teacher. When years later, a child comes in named after Maura but looks suspiciously like Jane, will Maura have stumbled onto something?

They meet. At the park bench, they meet.

Together, but not together. Sometimes, people stay together, without being together together.

I want this little image in my mind, to one day materialize.

With her, she doesn't need alcohol.

It's once again, the whole theme of their - Jane and Maura - love withstanding the end of life. I just really like the idea of them being together still, even in the afterlife. Added too - them as mommies, which I really enjoy as well.

We write fanfics to have Rizzles - Jane and Maura - so, what if a shipper was the feature of this story? A shipper, who intervenes, who enters into the lives of Jane Rizzoli, and Maura Isles.

When one finally says it, maybe the person would stay; it's alright to be afraid. [Part two; part one was 'To Africa Without You']

Sometimes, we lose someone, because we are simply too afraid; and we say nothing, instead of saying what we really wish to say. Other times, we say it all, and the person still does nothing at all. [Can be taken as a stand alone, or part one; part two is 'No Africa Just You']

A reinventing of sorts, of how the mattress scene could have gone. Things can change, can't they. Anything to get them - Jane and Maura - together too, I suppose.
