My name is Aoife (pronounced "Ee-fa" - think "Eva", but with an "f" - yes, I know it's odd), I live in a city called Newry in Northern Ireland, although I'm from Westport in County Mayo (Republic of Ireland). I'm sixteen, and my birthday is April 24th 1997.

I've 13 GCSE's, and I take A Levels in History, English Literature, Maths, Further Maths and Economics, and I took A Level Irish when I was younger - I want to study Law at University. Writing is a hobby of mine alongside swimming, cross-country running and tennis (slightly odd combination, but anyway), and I write both fanfic and creative pieces for a load of programmes. If I didn't go to University, I'd be an author (if I was good enough), because I'm far too small to be a sportswoman - I'm just about 5ft 1!

5 "interesting" facts about me;

1 - I have naturally white-blonde hair with very little/no pigment to it, and dark blue eyes.

2 - My brother and I are the only people in the family with any qualifications - my mam is a nurse, and my dad an artist.

3 - I have three middle names and a confirmation name (so five names plus surname) - my last name is also double-barreled, so you can imagine how long it would take me to write out the whole thing!

4 - My first language is Irish, which I speak to my parents, and I went to Irish speaking Primary schools - I didn't speak English properly until the age of about nine, which is why I sometimes write a little oddly! I speak some German, but I'd like to be fluent, or to learn something like Russian.

5 - I'm part of an enormous family; I have three brothers and a sister, fifteen blood aunts and uncles, and somewhere around 50 cousins (I think!).
