No one knows I post here and I will be horribly embarrassed if they find out. English is my native language, but I have a problem with comas. No known allergy to spell-checkers though.

Completed Stories and Reviews

If I post something here, it will be complete at the time of posting. This means there is little point following my stories, because they are probably at the point were they are as finished as I can make them.

I only read stories that are listed as complete because I am an impatient person, and I don't make other people wait if it is avoidable. I consider "I won't post the next chapter until I have x reviews" messages to be rather rude. Can't you just be pleased that people are reading your stuff? You have the stats to tell you that. They'll review if they want to and feel they have something to say.

I am a lurker myself. I don't review. Therefore, I have no right to ask for reviews. So I won't. Do as you please. I might answer if you do review though. I will ignore flames on principle, don't waste your time spewing hate.

I hate waiting for follow-on stories too. I hate the fact that good stories take soooo long to write and publish (clearly, I don't mean mine). There are books I have had to wait years to read, so I finally know the end of the story. There are authors that I would like to chain to their computers until they finally finish. Don't they understand how dangerous living is? It is fatal in 100% of all known cases, they could die! It is an absolute nightmare when I have the feeling something has been abandoned and I don't know how it should have ended. (That goes for tv series and films series too.) I can't see myself writing anything that can't be told as a standalone story. Too stressful for all concerned.

An excellent idea. I don't have one because I am mostly mortified by the stuff I write and quite horrified by the idea of anyone actually reading it. Especially in 'raw' form. Clearly, I am trying to deal with that, or I wouldn't be posting here at all.
