![]() Author has written 10 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm more active on another fic database, but ffdotnet seems to have something against hyperlinks so Idk of the link will open. I'm that kind of writer that gets super pumped about an idea, tries to write it down, tries again, starts crying, throws the laptop out of the window, cries some more, tries to write the idea again, comes up with another idea instead, writes the story on that new idea, complains because things didn't go as planned. What do you mean "all writers are like this"? Well, I'm also the kind of writer that doesn't write for centuries and then has a writing spree and finishes a full novel in a fortnight. That kind of writer that is super excited about a story as soon as it's finished, but that after a few days starts to cringe at its every element. The "all writers are like this" argument again? Then you are right. I'm just an ordinary writer (fanwriter more often than not) that simply can't do justice to her ideas. My "ordinary writer" starter pack comes with procrastination, angst, existential crisis, angst, oneshots and single damned paragraphs that don't want to fit in a whole story, hurt-comfort, angst, fluff, lyricism and peculiar narration, overthinking, angst, bitterness and sarcasm, self loathing, and angst. The desire to write (not acted upon more often than not) usually comes from listening to music and thinking about Giacomo "adorable" Leopardi. If you despicable souls do not know about him, I urge you to educate yourself. Like, yesterday. I'd love to tell you to expect more stories to come but I honestly don't know: my writing schedule is nonexistent and the only time I stuck to it (barely) was when I published my only completed multichapter story. A personal success that is extremely unlikely to occur again. My stories I loathe and love all of my stories, even the ones that I have yet to write. Indistinctly. The only difference is that some I love more than I loathe and viceversa. Most of them are recognizable from the typical one/three-shot format and the unusual narrator (I love writing in second person). The presence of angst, fluff, hurt (much)-comfort (little), and lyricism are also strong indicators. I like to explore the moment and delve into the feelings of one or two characters maximum. Also I love descriptions. You remember how I said that I cringe at all my stories? Well, there are some I still (unexpectedly) like (which is also one of the reasons I published them in the first place), so if you want to read some quality content, according to the writer's judgment, here's my little collection. Not all of them are on this profile. If you're interested, then PM me: Pictures of You: (YugixYami and YugixCyberAtem, postcanon, sci-fi, dark, angst, romantic) Everybody kept saying he was dead. But he wasn’t. He wasn’t until Yugi allowed him to be. This.Is.My.Only.Completed.Multichapter.Story. I'm going to cry, I didn't think I was capable of finishing a 20-chapter fic about mental unstable Yugi trying to bring Yami back to life through a CyberAtem. It's not even my type of story! But alas you can't control your plot bunnies, and this one was persistent. If you're ready for an emotional runner-coaster then this fic is perfect... No it isn't. It's not in English. That's why nobody's going to read it *cries* Lampblack: (YugixYami, Baron in the Trees!AU, historical, angst, romantic) Genoa's Republic's "savage" is a man with no past. After running away at twelve, he's kept on living without leaving traces, always conforming to his own definition of loneliness: freedom. And then we met. I don't know but I LOVE historical AUs and this one took me so much time in researches. I love the bittersweet tones and the unconventional plot. Neither this fic is perfect BUT I am slowly translating it. I swear. One day it will exist in English. Probably. Eventually. Through the Looking Glass: (L centric, collection of flashfics, introspective, general, inspired by traditional fairytales) Why do I keep doing this? This isn't in English either! Its presence here is probably just a tribute to the infinite amount of time spent refining every single word and metaphor to make look simple something that, actually, is incredibly complex. I'm talking about L's unbrushed pretty head. Yours: (YugixAtem and Atemxhis wife, set in ancient Egypt and so AU-ish, historical, angst, romantic). This one doesn't need an introduction because you can read it here, on this same profile, below this presentation. Surprised? I put it in this list cause a lot of people appreciated it and, even though the fic is old, I still like the way its three-shot format is built: a triple perspective on the same situation. So Simple in the Moonlight: (YugixYami, AU, three-shot, romantic, tragedy, lots of angst). Yami wanders around the city after a breakup. His depression is just like a fog over his eyes, a cold hand around his heart that makes him unable to see world's true colors. Second person narration because I can. Inspired by Lua by Bright Eyes, this fic will lull you among waves of gelid melancholy. Quite literally. Heart-wrenching to write, I especially love the dialogue between Yugi and Yami at the end. They're cute.Welp this presentation is so long! Wish I could write that easily when it comes to stories. Well, here you have it then, for more links and info you can always drop me a message.
