Update 09-08-05

Well, I believe this front has been up long enough. I suppose I should say a little bit about myself. I like to write stories that feature my original character, Baron Von Stupor. I'll throw him into an anime storyline and see what develops.

Update 12-08-05

DISCLAIMER:As per a good idea I saw utilized on another author(s)' profile, I shall place my disclaimer here, rather than in each chapter of each story. Also, to further eradicate my need to waste time updating my profile, for my disclaimer, I will say that I do not take credit for any fanfiction I post here, or anywhere else on the internet for any reason, or at anytime now, in the past, or in the future. I do not own these serieses that I fiction, and am not attempting to gain any kind of profit off of my fictions in any way whatsoever. I am simply enjoying the series in new and unique ways, no more, no less. I thusly am immune to prosecution! Wa-ha!

There. Now I can safely write all the fiction I want, for anything I want, whenever I want, wherever I want... and it's all covered under this one disclaimer. Hooray!

Update 01-09-06

GOD FREAKING! I keep freaking trying to fix the freaking typos like the little font changes tyhe site keeps making in my farking profile and it keeps changing other crap as soon as I save the changes! What the heck is going on!

Update 03-09-06

I have changed my pen name to Agent Baron. I chose to do this because I can no longer call myself Von Stupor anymore, as his character has developed so much that he has become his own character. As such, I must respect him by not usinghis name, which is not mine. _ I am now Agent Baron, which reflects my super cool secret agent codename from my own militia, BASTE.

Update 09-19-06

I feel it necessary to put a few ponderings on here. I recieve oodles of good reviews from my faithful readers, though I only have a select few, and I have a theory as to why. Fanfiction, to the average reader, is at an age where if it involves neither coupling characters or vampires, is uninteresting by default and therefore not worth anyone's time to read. However, if a fiction has coupled characters (be it hetero or homo) or vampires, or even a curious mixture of both, it will in turn garner limitless reviews.

I also feel I can justify this theory, because take, for example, 'The Masked Duelist'. This fiction has no couples or any hints of vampires whatsoever, just your average good old adventure fic. That story had 23 chapters and ended with 57 reviews. Now if we look at Darkness Absolute, my vampire fic (which unintentionally contained a coupling of characters) made for the sole purpose of my fic duel, it had 22 chapters; however only 14 of them contributed to the plot. Therefore I conclude that with 14 chapters in a fanfiction about vampires/couples that I wrote I recieved more reviews than in a 23 chapter adventure fic with no vampires and/or couples in sight. It's a bit disheartening, really. Not that I'll stop, but it's just kind of a drag that people won't really go for an old-fashioned adventure fic anymore. It doesn't matter how well or poor a story is, it seems that if it's got the right couple in it, it will make the fans squeal with delight. I don't mean to sound so sarcastic, but this point is hard to refure. _;

However I (the relationship grinch as I'm also known as with a friend of mine) do not get into writing romance fics simply because they're not exactly my cup of tea. Additionally, I do not like vampires. I think they're hideously overplayed and overpowerful, and generally not very good horror creatures, let alone villains. Despite my glaring dislike for the only popular type of fanfiction, I pride myself in that my fictions are unique in that sense. I don't conform to what everyone's into, I write what I damn well feel like writing and if anyone likes it then that's cool and if no one does... I guess I'll be my only fan. So far it seems that anyone who gives my fictions a chance grows to like them, even if one is not into the fiction's core criteria (i.e. Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, etc.).

In conclusion, I believe that the reason why I am not more popular than I am now is because no one wants to read the fictions I write, they only want romance and vampire fics. ...Or at least so it seems. I do wish more people would give my fictions a chance, but I feel this is all I can do aside from submitting my fictions to various fansites, or whatever. Anyways, I suppose this is all for now. Agent Baron, over and out!
