26 September, 2015: YO! How is everyone?

I have been starting on the epilogue on "Rose Petals and Moss Mounds." Crazy, right? Only took me six months =)

I have seven drabbles that I am also currently working on, and oh man, you guys are going to love it! It's a process that takes awhile, especially to get the story just right...(though I went and looked back at some of the ones that have been posted months ago, and I got to say, the lack of detail and statistic of having at least one typo per chapter is astonishing...), but still, I notice as time goes on, I am beginning to get into deeper stuff. I might cut off the drabble fic soon, and then start the next volume, hopefully with a bit more advanced stuff. (Sorry I couldn't keep up with all the requests; I wasn't feeling as inspired by that, and just decided to do my own thing).

"Where I Belong" is also going to get an update soon, as I just started the next chapter for that, and I am hoping to update more consistently. What I notice is a lot of the fics that are more full story are less popular to write than the one-shots, but I am still having fun planning that story. I also have an Amethyst-centric story coming up once "Where I Belong" is complete.

That's all for news for now.

Oh...one other thing. You see, I am in college now, and hopefully I am going to be working full time soon...So, you know. This is more of a spare time thing to begin with...and I am on my way to becoming a pediatrician in, say, eight years...

Updates may or may not be slim. Heck, they may be way better than they have over the last few months now that I am getting back into this.

This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't.

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it?

Things I like:

-Lately, I have a fondness for the composer Joe Hisaishi. His movie scores for Studio Ghibili are really brilliant, and they help my imagination wander. On occasion, they actually help inspire some of the story elements or oneshots that I create =)

-I am a percussionist. And yes, as a result, I am also a band geek. One of my favorite instruments to play it marimba, and I believe that the greatest form of torture could very well be hitting your own hand with a twine mallet. If you have ever done this by mistake while playing scales, then you know exactly what I'm talking about.

-Obviously I enjoy writing, even though I don't post often. =)

-I love reading so much afdsplaksjdf kjdkaspdkajfd =D Books are cool. So is fanfiction.

-Video games are pretty cool too =)

-I speak some German. Und ich bin wirklich froehe, dass ich ein bisschen im Deutsch sprechen kann.( i really need to brush up, but i do enjoy practicing with others. I you ever pm me, just don't have hopes up that I will be any good...just a fair warning)
