Hello, fanfictionists! I am PhantasyPhan13, and I hope to write some stories that you'll love and take the time to enjoy to the fullest! I'm getting the hang of things now that I've been here a while, but if for some reason I don't exactly publish a story or chapter the right way or make some other kind of blooper, please forgive me for the mess-ups. Any help would still be greatly appreciated!

Although most of my early stories are about the Smurfs, I currently enjoy writing about Rise of the Guardians and other stuff. Whatever I choose to write, I hope you'll read and review with enthusiasm!

I love anything furry, drawing, animals, writing, music, manga/anime, griffins, chocolate, videogames, fantasy, stories/reading, animation, epic cuteness, and fanfiction, of course!

Favorite Smurfs Characters: Papa, Clumsy (he's such an innocent sweetie pie), Grouchy, Hefty, Handy (for some reason I use to think he was cute..O.O), Sassette, Scaredy (I get it, Scaredy. I'm nervous too) (Smurfette is my least favorite. Sorry, but she's probably one of the worst examples of a female stereotype I've ever had the misfortune to meet. If any fanfictionist out there can write a story that makes her seem like a real character and not a superficial, saccharine piece of eye candy, then let me know and you'll win brownie points in my book. :D)

Favorite Despicable Me Characters: Gru (what can I say? I'm antisocial too!), Dave, Stuart, Phil, Kevin, Agnes, Margo, Vector (he's hilarious, nerdy, AND obsessed with sea animals XD),Dr. Nefario (I love British accents and eccentric old guys!)

Meet My OCs!

NutBot: Handy's quirky pet robot squirrel. He was created to help Handy escape from imprisonment in a volcano, when Lupine's archenemy trapped him there (More on that later. May require the uploading of new fanfics and intros to more OCs!). Although he's a bit nutty and can be pretty annoying at times, he really does care for Handy and would even die for his beloved 'master'. He's a great guy...so long as you don't let him have caffeine or sugar. When that happens, it's advisable to head for the hills. Featured in: The Ghost of Capricorn's Isle, Soldier's Heart

Lupine: Lupine is a Smurf who was lost in the woods as a baby long ago, just like his brother Wild. However, he was taken in by the kind wolf pack Aluraris and taught to live the life of a wolf. When he finally discovers his true family, it's not easy for him to adapt.

He is a proud, confident young Smurf-sometimes a little TOO confident. He can be somewhat arrogant and occasionally fights with Wild about Leafette, his true love, but deep down inside he's really a good down-to-earth guy. He's not afraid to stand up to Gargamel to protect his family, and he is very close with his brother. He often hunts, eats meat, scratches himself with his foot, and shows other feral habits. He has a super-sensitive nose and is driven crazy by certain Smurfs' body odors. He also has good hearing and can stalk prey silently. Featured in: Smurfing with the Wolves

Mama: Mama is the wife of Papa Smurf. She was separated from him once a long time ago, but they were able to reunite and are now living happily together once again. She wears a red dress, red leggings, a red hat, and glasses with gold rims. She is a typical motherly figure-loving, kind, and a good cook.

However, she can be a little bit cynical at times regarding Papa Smurf's attraction to Flowerbell, but she is sweet and good-natured for the most part. However, she has a little fire in her and isn't afraid to stand up for her family if they are in danger. She is quite skilled at magic and potionry-even more so than Papa, but perhaps that is because she is far more careful than he is. She is very close to her husband and will care for him if he is injured or ill, even if she has reason to be suspicious of him. She is close to Nanny and enjoys knitting, although she isn't very good at it. Featured in: Smurfing with the Wolves,Soldier's Heart

Adventurette: Adventurette, aka Ven, is the brash sister of Kat Smurf. Sassy, badass and never far from her beloved bow, Ven is a warrior at heart and is always up for a bit of action-packed aventure. She isn't afraid to speak up for herself-in a bold way. She often bullies Clumsy and typically thinks of the other Smurfs except for Gutsy as wimpy and sappy.

Even though she seems to be rude and a bit pushy, deep down inside Ven is full of angst. She wants to be an independent person, but Papa Smurf is hesitant about letting her have some freedom. She typically wears a red tank top with a picture of a sword on it, blue jeans, and brown leather combat boots. She also wears a long brown leather glove on her left arm, because she twisted it long ago when she fell off the back of a hawk when the bird of prey flew off with Kat. In the winter, she wears a red hoodie dress and red glovelettes. Like her sister, she wears her red hair in a ponytail.

She has a bit of a fiery temper and can blow up when she's frustrated or upset at somebody. She has a soft spot for Snappy Smurfling, whom she treats as a little brother. Tuffy is her adopted brother, whom she generally treats like a stupid puppy dog. Her Best Smurf Friend is Gutsy, whom she often adventures with. She loves Handy half to death and is a little bit too touchy with him. She has trouble understanding her sister, which leads to them getting into quite a few fights. However, she is very loyal to her family and would fight to the death for them if the need arises.

She is also a big fan of The Hunger Games and has a pet mockingjay named Katniss. However, she enjoys other dystopian books such as Divergent. Featured in: Soldier's Heart, All is Vanity

Kat Smurf: Kat Smurf is the quiet sister of Adventurette. She was originally created as a counterpart for Ven, who was the first original female Smurfling. She is gentle, shy, and very loving. While Ven is the warrior, Kat is more like the healer-able to soothe others with her soft words and understanding ways. Although she has a strong sense of wrong and right, she is sometimes hesitant to speak up for the ones she loves for the fear that Ven will shoot her down or call her a 'goody-goody'. Clumsy is one of her closest friends, although she gets along with pretty much everybody.

She is Handy's apprentice and is quite close to him. She and her gray pet cat, Jima, are practically inseparable. She typically wears a pink tank top with a picture of a white cat on it, green jeans, and brown Ugg boots. In the winter, she wears a pink hoodie dress and green glovelettes. Like her sister, she wears her dark brown hair in a ponytail.

Kat also has some experience with necromancy, since she rifled through some necromancy books of Papa Smurf's in order to revive Smurfette's pet mouse Squeaky. A clumsy, incomplete understanding of this dark subject has led to Kat's almost-death a few times, but she still considers herself a necromancer even though she rarely practices it anymore. For some strange reason, she is able to eat nightshade without any side effects.

She doesn't understand her sister very well, but she would do anything for Ven. She is a very sensitive person and sometimes cries easily, although she isn't as much of a crybaby as Clumsy can be at times. She got her fluffy white cat ears and cat tail from a magic accident in Papa's lab, which may have contributed to her agility. Featured in: Soldier's Heart, A Friend in Need

Amnesiac Smurf: Amnesiac is a Smurf with psychic powers who used to be quite ordinary. One day, when he was 50 years old, a comet fell in the Smurf Village and struck him in the forehead. This severe injury caused him to collapse and remain in a deep coma for 100 years. Amazingly, he was able to survive, though his skull was badly smashed and had to be stitched together again by Papa Smurf.

While he was asleep, he gained his psychic powers and began to dream. When he awoke, he lost all his memory of his family but began to put into practice his newfound powers. The splitting of his skull gave him a four-pointed white star scar, which glitters silver when he activates his powers. Some of his powers include telepathy, telekinesis, subconscious communication, using his chi (aka essence) to make energy bolts, healing, and activating magic shields.

His usual outfit is a light, gauzy, sheer Smurf hat and leggings, a leather anklet with an aquamarine gem in it on his right ankle and a leather amulet with a false grey stone in it. The stone in his amulet opens to hold his seizure medication. However, in the winter he wears several layers of thick socks and a turquoise shawl, since he gets cold very easily. Featured in: All is Vanity

Golly: Golly is a bitter but prodigiously bright baby Zjin who was reincarnated from a mysterious egg after her entire family was slaughtered by the cruel Wolarbearf Tiber (pronounced TEE-bur). She has soft, froglike brown skin with forest-green freckles, forest-green back-spines and arrowhead tail-tip, darkish green dragon wings, green claws, catlike ears, a berry-pink kitty nose, and a catlike body.

Although she's only about a foot and a half tall, she's able to defend herself with blue-green poison from her spines and venemous fire from her mouth. She appears to be aloof and hostile, but the real reason she is so guarded is to protect herself from any more emotional hurt after the shattering death of her mother. She is impatient and derogatory towards those she perceives as weak, but she still has a conscience and will not hesitate to berate herself for any misdeed she is involved in. She communicates telepathically and is able to glimpse into a creature's brain and thought processes. Featured in: Soldier's Heart

Andy: A bigger, scarier version of Balthazar Bratt's best robot buddy, Clive. He's pretty aggressive and doesn't hesitate to make fun of Clive. When Clive meets him after returning to Bratt after escaping the wreck of Bratt's mega-robot, he's initially wary of this strange new creature. But, deep down, is Andy really as mean as he seems? Could there be a heart of gold ticking inside this chainsaw-wielding 'bot? Maybe, just maybe, he could wind up becoming the best friend Clive never knew he had...or his worst enemy. Featured in: Reboot

Story Notes

I happen to be more familiar with the kind of Smurfs featured in the recent movie, so if I refer to character traits, voices, or events that do not occur in the comic strips or cartoon series, then I am probably referring to something in the movie. (e.g., Handy's Southern accent, Clumsy's desire to be a hero, the blue moon in New York, etc.) Sorry, but I have not really liked the few Peyo-created comics that I have read, and I haven't seen a single minute of a single cartoon, although I have done extensive research on Smurfs Wiki and try my hardest to get everyone's personalities right. But if I accidentally write someone out of character or if I make a mistake regarding a cartoon show or comic reference, I would appreciate it if someone could point that out and make a suggestion to help improve my stories! My crossover An Unexpected Visitor is written by both me and an anonymous friend. (She wrote the perspective/lines of the Doctor, while I wrote the perspective/lines of the Lone Shee.) My friend is more familiar with the new Doctor Who series, and the little knowledge I have of the show also mostly comes from the new series, so we probably will not reference much from the old series. If I do reference anything from the old series, it's based on what I have read on Wikipedia, so feel free to correct me. I'm also more familiar with Creatures 2, 3, and Docking Station, so there probably will not be any references from C1 (and definitely not C4/Creatures Online, since it isn't out yet!). Again, feel free to make suggestions to improve the overall story. If you have any comments regarding my friend's writing, I'll be sure to pass along your comments so both of us can benefit from your feedback! Sadly, I happen to be one of those crazy people inflicted by the plot bunny (I'd rather be kidnapped by the Easter Bunny XD), so I often get ideas and start writing them, think they're awesome, and pause in my writing after around chapter two. However, I know all my readers are counting on me and I myself hate when people stop updating a really epic story (the best Smurf fanfic I ever read, The Carrier, was one of these. I fell in love with it and was devastated when I found out it hadn't been updated since 2011 and the author seemed to have gone MIA), so I'll try to update mine as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep reviewing and waiting for the next update! I also update my profile way more than my stories XD, so check back here for more character info and fun extras. The title of my story 'Soldier's Heart' is inspired by lyrics from the song 'Soldier' by Ingrid Michaelson. I believe the chorus 'And so it goes, this soldier knows, a battle with the heart isn't easily won, but it can be won' reflects my character Golly's inner struggles with trust and love after becoming bitter due to the murder of her family. However, she finds herself warming up to the Smurfs, and she indeed has to win a battle within her own heart-a battle she isn't sure she can win. My story 'Doll Face' is a collab with my FanFiction buddy GlitterFrog. We take turns writing each chapter in segments via Private Messaging. It takes a couple of days for us to write each chapter, but so far I'm getting this story done much faster than I would if it wasn't a collab. I hope you enjoy each update and take the time to review each chapter!
