Author has written 1 story for Batman. The September 2015 Update: Um, yeah - this summer was supposed to be the time in which I devoted myself to my writing and updated my stories like a good fanfiction author. But instead I spent all of my free-time playing video games, reading the A Song of Ice and Fire series, and watching Netflix. Now class is back in session and the customer traffic in my workplace is skyrocketing thanks to the oncoming holiday season. So maybe I'll update. Unfortunately, my second semester is going to be spent writing essays and research papers for two college-level classes. Now that I have written down my list of excuses - please don't hate me for not updating. :/ Though you may not (translation: most likely do not) care, I'll add the required list of 'favorites' here in this section. Favorite TV Shows: Game of Thrones; House of Cards; Outlander; Arrow; Mad Men; Sherlock; Scandal (the first two seasons are worth the weekend I wasted, the third and fourth - not so much) Favorite Movies: Inception; The Great Gatsby; The Dark Knight Trilogy; Planet of the Apes (original and 2011 reboot); Guardians of the Galaxy (two words: Chris. Pratt); the Captain America movies; X-Men franchise; The Lord of The Rings Favorite Anime: Noragami; The Devil is a Part-Timer!; Tokyo Ghoul; Bleach; Fairy Tail; Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; Attack on Titan Favorite GoT Characters (in order): Daenerys Targaryen; Tyrion Lannister; Sansa Stark; Jon Snow; Jamie Lannister; Brienne of Tarth; Varys; Arya Stark Favorite Comic Characters (in no particular order): Batman (all-time favorite character, for various reasons besides the obvious "HE'S BATMAN"); Deadpool; Catwoman; Hawkgirl; members of the Batfamily; the Flash; Captain America; Black Widow; Wonder Woman; Storm; etc. On Comics: My ultimate nerdy love. Never have I been into a fandom or a "thing" like I have comics. Though I have to say, I hate the prices. Five dollars for thirty-three pages, Marvel? Really? I tend to buy more DC than Marvel, but I hate the whole 'vs' argument. Both companies do things better and worse than the other. Case closed. On Disney Movies: I love the old animated movies. Favorites? Tarzan, Hercules, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Mulan, Atlantis, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Admission: I loathe Cinderella and Snow White in the Disney animated features. Snow's okay in Once Upon a Time, though. I'll never like Cinderella, though. On BOOKS: I just may be the pickiest reader in history. It's terribly difficult for me to like a book, even if it's one that gets rave reviews. My current favorite series is A Song of Ice and Fire. On THE HOBBIT: Honestly, I liked the first movie. I wasn't so fond of the second movie, and the third one made me so angry that I wanted to find Peter Jackson and kick him in the groin. Unpopular opinion: I hate Thorin. When the movies quit focusing on THE HOBBIT was when I lost all interest. Martin Freeman lit up the scenes in which he was present. The movies were supposed to be focused on HIM as BILBO. We could've had either one very long movie, or two movies, if Jackson hadn't given us that video game BS with Gandalf, the orcs, and Sauron, as well as subjecting us to a forced romance between Kili and Tauriel, among other things. On WHY AM I CONTINUING TO TYPE? Because, I am bored. Thank you. Have a good day. NaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNaNa BATMAN! :) " Perhaps that is the secret. It is not what we do, so much as why we do it." - Tyrion Lannister, George R.R. Martin, A Clash of Kings |
