Author has written 13 stories for Les Misérables, Les Miserables, Doctor Who, and Call the Midwife. If anybody has any problems with any of the cover images used (copyright etc) please let me know and I will change it immediately. Everything was found on Google, so I can promise that no infringement was intended. My Les Mis fics are shudderingly embarrassing as they were largely written by twelve and thirteen year old me, and while I'm sure there are some brilliant twelve and thirteen year old writers out there, I was not one of them. If you value that pairing, leave them well alone. This summer I intend to keep them but rewrite them all to what I hope will be a better standard. Making no promises, but I can try! As a budding fanfiction author, I swear to you that the characters I write with will always live in my work, no matter the situation or how desperate things look. That is a promise to all of you lovely lovely readers. (I'm not a fan of writing tragic endings because I will inevitably curl up in to a ball and cry, therefore losing all motivation to continue writing for the next four years.) "I think my mouth just opens and I spontaneously say things that occur to me" Helena Bonham Carter. Hello there you lovely person, I'm Katie. A hearty good morning/afternoon/evening/night to you. I feel like I should at least make an effort with this part so here goes. I'm a teenage English girl with an adoration of history and musicals. I'm normally found in my bedroom or wandering about the city, occasionally dancing. I enjoy art, reading, writing and marathoning films/television shows in my spare time and have a tendency towards cake baking on a Thursday evening. Currently Reading (please note this gets updated about once every three months so the chances of it being accurate at the time in which you're reading this are about one in a thousand, but hey.): Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, Let's Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir) by Jenny Lawson, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (48th time and counting), The Messenger by Markus Zusak, and The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton, all of which are INCREDIBLE. A List of Spontaneously Typed Factual Information, Évelyne Brochu and Emerald Fennell are pretty much my favourite people in existence. My favourite television shows are Call the Midwife and Orphan Black. My favourite musical is Once. My favourite books are To Kill a Mockingbird (in case you hadn't worked that out by the above) and The Book Thief. My favourite book series is Harry Potter. I'm a Ravenclaw. My MBTI type is INFJ. My favourite genre of anything is historical fiction. I always say I'm going to start a photo album but never do. My art books are treated like my second family. If you ever want to get rid of an apple flavoured lollipop, let me know. I don't understand the seemingly universal dislike for them. My favourite film is Saving Mr Banks. I also ADORE The Book Thief, despite it being very different from what my book-formed expectations were. I was sobbing solidly for about the last half an hour, which is unusual, as I rarely cry at films. My favourite soundtrack from anything is the one from Professor Layton and the Curious Village. Even if you don't play the games, look it up, it's incredible. If I get the chance I'd love to live in Amsterdam. I'm the proud owner of a set of replica dragon eggs from Game of Thrones. If all goes according to plan, I hope to go in to acting one day, and the first thing I saw when I looked up from typing this was my Shaun the Sheep nail brush. I think it's a nail brush anyway. Thank you for stopping by! |
