Author has written 18 stories for Glee, and White Collar. I'm basically a fan who happens to like writing. I'm a huge fan of Glee (which is the main reason I started reading and eventually writing fanfiction). That's why most of my stories are based on characters from Glee (and especially Blaine and Kurt since they're my favourites). Constructive criticism is always welcome, and I don't mind if you point out and/or correct spelling or grammar mistakes - if you can find any - since English is not my mother tongue. I also accept prompts if I think I can make them work in a story. As far as the English goes: if I have a choice between British or American English, I will nearly always choose for British English, simply because I prefer British English. I try to keep it as neutral as possible, so that as many people as possible can understand my stories without having to consult a dictionary all the time. But sometimes, there are differences and I will inevitably have to choose between the two. Another thing you should know: I have recently stopped putting warnings in my stories. I know many writers do that so as not to shock their readers with sudden violence or cursing, etc., and I used to do that as well. Until I realised that when you read a book, there aren't any warnings at the beginning either. I do aspire to become a 'real' writer some day, so I've decided that, as far as my stories go, reading is always at your own risk. If the genre is angst and the rating is T, you can assume it won't be a fluffy story; there will be angst in some form. I don't want to scare readers off, of course, so I promise to make my rating as accurate as possible and to always indicate the genre of the story. And if any of you think I should change the rating in one of my stories, please tell me, so I can change that. News Flash! I've recently started posting all of my stories on AO3 under the pseudonym IsaWritings (I couldn't add the ' so I left it out there). They're the same stories I've posted here and in the future, I'll probably post my stories on both websites. So feel free to choose where you want to read them! |
