Most people probably won't read all this, but I might as well put out warnings here:

I aim to write stories that hurt and heal, of suffering and sacrifice, of guilt and forgiveness. I aim to write stories that remind us of our humanity, which is both our trump card and our Achilles' heel. Which basically means that for people who want a "quick fix," unless they're reading my one-shots, they should probably move on. I'm not sorry.

I write very provocative scenes. Detailed. Graphical. Foreboding. And I don't mean that in the erotic sense. If you read these scenes, you will be disgusted, horrified, stunned with disbelief, etc. You have been warned. Again, I'm not sorry.

On the other hand, if you're patient and willing to tough it out, hopefully my stories will give you "feels" and perhaps even change your outlook on life. It's like food. If you don't snack and have been eating nothing but gruel for days, you will appreciate the first bite of good food. An explosion of flavor, and you will never really view food the same way again. And of course, I'm not sorry.

I realized that it's rather discourteous of me to simply leave readers hanging, not knowing if lack of updates for a month meant that I'm no longer working on the story or if I'm simply on vacation or something. So I decided to put this here so that people will know if I'm discontinuing a story, pausing work on a story due to life, currently working on it, having given it to someone else to finish, or whatever the case may be.

Water Lily - Finished.

The Good Master - On hiatus. My apologies - I just have too much going in my life right now to continue this story. Hopefully life will give me another chance.
