A Little Bit About Me: I never really shared this before but I majored in Media Arts (i.e all forms of media and film production). I'm sort of a jack of all trades with the arts and film industry but my main areas of focus are video editing and audio engineering/design. As you already know my other area of focus is writing, and yes being a media major I have written several scripts so it is safe to say I know what I'm doing as I write. Currently been working on an original work for publishing on Fictionpress and have started an audio play for it as well. I am a geek/nerd in all definitions of the word and I'm not ashamed about it what so ever.

I am now known as Slifer's Executive Writer! The new avatar you see was a collab between me and one of my best friends, I did the line art, background, and title. She did the coloring of the characters.

OLD NOTICE: Hello everyone...wow I just looked at this thing and realized how long it has been and how far I've come. I've come here to let you guys know that I'm still alive and so is my passion for my books. Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles will not be abandoned. Crimson Moon Alchemist, not sure if I'll ever get back to rewrite that but I'll keep everyone in touch if I do. The AOT fanfic...err wait till next holiday season for the extra chapter..or blow up my inbox. As far as Pharaoh Chronicles...I've been reading all these emails and it makes my heart melt that you guys have supported me so f*king much throughout the years and I can't thank you enough.

WHY I'VE BEEN GONE: Before I mentioned I was in college, currently graduated. Also I have had multiple jobs and have just acquired a new one so you guys can imagine that this takes up a lot of my time. I now write original material and have personal projects other than fanfiction as I've gotten older. And of course I cannot forget that writer's block is my worst enemy of all time.

WHY I CAME BACK: I'm here talking to you now aren't I? Keep in mind I will only being updating Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles from now on. Any other stories I work on or write is purely out a spur of the moment and will be a labor of love. Like I said the Attack on Titan thing will get an extra chapter eventually but that is it. Everything else will be for the mentioned series above and new projects if I find time for any. I will always find time at some point for you guys and I apologize for my long absence. I know what it is like waiting for updates. Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles first edition has been finished but as you guys know I have a rewrite in the works that will be the official canon for the next books. Happy to write for you guys with all the experience and education I've obtained over the years. It is fun to have us all grow up together and watch my writing skills evolve. Below is some scribbles and content about my favorite anime that I have written about or my write about in the future. Also will have details about my major project (Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles). My old rants were pretty cringy so I deleted them from here. Any new topics will not be as obnoxious.

About Me as a Fanfic Writer: I am not a fan of OC pairings with the already existing characters unless it is an OC with another OC as in my fanfics. Most of my OCs are just filler characters, helpers, relatives, new villians, or children of the main characters. Although I tend to add more depth to them than other writers and avoid them being Mary Sues.

Overall a majority of my work on this site will be on Vanish/Revolution Shipping (who the hell came up with these names?) (i.e. Atem/Yami & Anzu/Tea).

This anime subject will be the most frequent fanfics I will be writing about as original stories, oneshots, or crossovers with other animes, tv shows, video games, and movies.

The largest project I will be working on is the Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles which will spand as many as three or four large books and then a series of smaller stories. Yugioh fans who become hooked into my huge expansion will be very pleased with my own on going version of the Yugioh we all known and love.

Yu-Gi-Oh: The Original Series - This is one of my all time favorite anime/manga . I have watched the entire anime both dub & sub version,Season 0, and seen all the movies (Capsule Monsters 1 & 2 including the series version, The Pyramid of Light, Bonds Beyond Time, and Dark Side of Dimensions). I have the entire manga including the added R series. I have read other FanFiction stories for the past few years. About 10 years ago I starting creating my own fanfics for this anime after its sad ending.

This is an awesome website that accurately (yes I checked myself) describes all the differences between Sub & Dub episodes of Yugioh the guy has a good sense of humor too & it even has pictures for some scenes. HERE WILL BE INFORMATION ABOUT MY NEW PROJECT DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS PART 2: THE COSMIC RIFT

HOW IT ALL STARTED: So as stated above I only planned on updating and working on my main novel series, Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles. Then something very weird happened. One night I had an extremely vivid dream, particularly that with Yu-Gi-Oh characters. The reason this is so weird is because I haven't had an anime related dream since I was tween. Not mention one that felt long and had fleshed out scenes.

Because this was all a dream, when I woke up naturally I forgot some details but the majority of it was stuck in my head. I could not help but feel that this thing was way to cool and interesting to not write about. So in correlation with this experience, I had been on an H.P. Lovecraft kick, I just watched the newest video adaption of Call of Cthulhu and I have been reading his stories. So I took the inspiration of cosmic horror and all its terrifying creature and decided to meld it with this dream story. It kind of worked out with the Dark Side of Dimensions having this idea of other worldly powers (i.e. The Plana) and the Quantum Cube. I mean the thing is basically an Infinity Stone at this point.

WHY I CHOSE TO MAKE THIS A PROJECT: I have not felt this passionate about a fanfiction idea is so long, that I could not pass this chance up at doing something fun and different. I even showed a rough draft of the idea to a complete stranger to fanfiction and that person said they would be excited to read this. So until I am finished with my current first novel rewrite, I decided to promote this new story with a movie styled trailer in order to spread the word.

RANDOM INFORMATION ABOUT PROJECT:

POSSIBLE RELEASE DATE (UPDATE!): I understand that I stated this project was supposed to be out by early Summer (currently now in late summer) but as usual life gets in the way. Still I am almost done with the rewrite and hopefully with a big push, I can try to get this new project up within the next month (no promises, but I will do my best).

GENRE - Overall this story will be an adventure piece with aspects of cosmic-like horror. Although I do not plan it to necessarily sound like a horror story but just with certain elements, especially in the design of the creatures. Of course this story will feature drama, thrills, and even romance. Besides what do people like the most in their fictional escapes? Drama, violence, and sex! All of which I can guarantee.

TRAILERS - So this was a creative decision as well as a method to advertise this story. I had a complete stranger to the world of fanfiction (but an overall Yu-Gi-Oh fan) read my draft and that individual said it would be exciting to read. With my love for movies and education in script writing, this idea was perfect to experiment with. Generally Hollywood has several methods of releasing their trailers. First is usually a teaser to get everyone excited and the next 2-3 trailers just reveal more information, sometimes too much. I have chosen the technique that release one trailer with a dramatic serious tone and the next one will be more light hearted and have funny moments, but also remaining action based.

UPDATE: Due to time constraints and my larger novel taking more time to finish than usual, I have decided to just keep it at one trailer and release the first chapter once Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles rewrite is finished.

PAIRINGS - It should be obvious which pairing I will have included, considering my speciality and history on this darn site. (Atem & Tea if people need me to spell it out). Each fic I write about these two is an opportunity to explore how they get together and how the relationship works. Why stick to one formula right? From brainstorming and looking at my current notes, I can confidently say that this particular story's version of the relationship is probably the most 'human' I've ever written it. Definitely a lot of personal experiences and observations going into this one.

Legend of the Crimson Moon Alchemist: So this was a project I worked on as a teenager and inspired by an old significant other. I would still like to work on the project with completely new characters and the whole idea of the storyline I still think is pretty cool. Not to mention I loved the design of my only Mary Sue. Well, I wish I was as cool as this character. Making a Mary Sue for myself was a bit a challenge since I hate the idea of it so much, but I wanted to try it out and do it well. Anyway, I cannot guarantee that I will ever get back into writing this story but it has been on my mind. I apologize to anyone who was following the story from years ago but hey life happens. FYI never put loved ones/people you are dating into a story and you are unsure about that particular relationship.

This part is for explanations in my story saga Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles. Some of these are character profiles/backstories and others are explantations of designs and how this story was overall put together. There are some SPOILERS HERE so read these little tidbits at your own discretion.

REWRITE NOTICE: This bit was a chapter by itself for the rewrite of the Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles Part 1 and instead of leaving that giant sign there, I decided to move it down here since it has been a while. This explains a bit why I decided to rewrite part one and the most important parts that were getting changed.

Hopefully that obnoxious caption caught your attention and warning this is a long explanation. Now I must inform you all that this is a current rewrite of the Chosen Pharaoh Chronicles Part 1. Some of those who have followed the original version disagreed with my decision to change it and yes we can all argue it might seem like a lessening of my integrity. But honestly I'm not really a prideful person and I have had the experience of reading something when I was younger and cringing at how I wrote this story (hopefully my fellow writers can sympathize with this). It is not so much I didn't like the plot but how I explained a lot of details and I felt certain beloved characters felt very out of place. Not to mention other aspects were sort of rushed in and changed at the last minute due to having to keep up with a particular schedule. So to keep one part of crowd happy the original version of this novel will stay online unless by popular demand that I switch to this one but I doubt that will happen. However, keep in mind that this rewrite will be the base canon for the book two and three. When I'm done updating this thing those books will go into progress.

Which, knowing me that will probably take a while but I trust you guys to stick by me. Much love to all of your support by the way.

Yet, one of the main purposes I'm doing this rewrite is not just to make certain details and subplots make more sense but it is to help me get back into writing and overall creativity. Furthermore, writing this story in a manner I see fit will overall make me happy and that is really what matters here. Support from your reviews and comments only make me more inspired to continue this journey yet again. Now before you guys enjoy this tale for either the first time or the second time; here is a list of aspects that will be the same and what will be changed in this rewrite.

What Will Remain the Same:

-The ending of this novel will almost be scene for scene, word for word. So if you liked the ending this is good news for you guys.

-Overall plot (I won't spoil for newcomers)

-The antagonist and the conflicts

-OCs Lykaon, Roman, Divine Council, etc will remain

-The prologue is almost the same aside from like a paragraph

-Atem's flashbacks

-Stuff about the ka monsters

What Will Be Changed:

-Little hints of the new Yu-Gi-Oh movie and maybe a Kaiba cameo (this guy is too funny in the new movie)

-What happened between Yugi and Tea (this especially includes the first flashback)

-The age of Keanna and Joshua, Marcus and Crystal (I made them adults just to make things easier and give them more character)

-Joshua's scene at the council

-Scenes including Marcus and Crystal

-Aspects of the shapeshifting and the scenes will make more sense in the YGO universe

-various scenes will have the same feel but the writing will be improved a bit

-of course whatever grammar errors I find in the original text will be fixed. Probably new errors will arise lol

If I have missed anything I will change or keep the same then I guess it is for you guys to figure since this novel is pretty big. Anyway I now permit you to enjoy the rewrite of this story!

Marcus' Ka appearance-He was originally written as a simple Blue Eyes White Dragon, son of Kisara and Seto. As the story was being written I began drawing artwork for it. I had already started Blues Eyes sketches and I had a big one for Kisara. But I wanted to added a little something different to each Blue Eyes, you know to make them as their individual characters. Kisara I decided not to have any real changes since she is the first ever Blue Eyes. Marcus I tried maybe adding a scar or a birth mark. I had a hard time deciding what would look good so I took a break from the project. Over the months I was getting into a design of an original dragon I created. It was know as a wolf dragon. I took my favorite animal and my favorite mythical creature and combined it into one being. I drew various sketches of this creature and even thought about adding the beast to my stories. I didn't know if I wanted it in my original story or my fanfics. As time passed I found myself drawing another type of wolf dragon and about midway into the sketch I noticed I unconsciously drew certain parts on the face of the dragon that resembled a Blue Eyes. It was the crest and the side horns on its cheeks. It then dawned on me that I wanted to incorporate this creation into the Yugioh fanfic. I had a hard time explaining what exactly this thing was in Yugioh terms until I created the merging Ka system which is explained later on in the story. However, it was easy to pick which character would have this Ka because of the fact Marcus is a Blue Eyes but I wanted to give him something different so his plot was set up. Unfortunately as I grew older and I put this plan on paper, it did not make much sense to me in the world I was building so I reverted Marcus back into the regular Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Now thanks to Konami and the new YGO film Darkside of Dimensions, Marcus will be the Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon. Perhaps I might give him the ability to transform into Shining Dragon as well, not sure at the moment. (Update) Currently Marcus's second form is the Blue-Eyes Chaos Maxx Dragon.

Use of Lykaon-Let me just say that this story idea has gone through more revisions, editing notes, comic drawings, sketches, and crazy dreams than anything else I've ever written. With this known the story had a strong chance of going with this werewolf idea that I had for a while and I needed an expert in the story to help the gang out with Atem being a werewolf. I made up an OC by the name of Dr. Lionel Priest. He had a major role in the story. I loved the character I created and even gave him a full background and I was planning on doing some sketches of him. I do have his werewolf sketches somewhere in my room. Anyway he had this spot until one day I did some research for another character I wanted to add and I stumbled upon this ancient Greek legend. It was the mythology of the actual Lykaon (also spelt Lycaon). It told of the Arcadian Greek king (whose name is translated into Wolf King) that decided one day to challenge the Gods of Olympus' nobility by serving them the flesh of a dead human child reportedly one of his own sons. Zeus was outraged by the attempt of humility toward him and turned Lykaon into a wolf. He could not turn back into a human for nine years and reportedly his daughter was turned into a bear and his wife left him. Therefore Lykaon was one of ancient civilization's first werewolf tale. Because of this great mythology I thought he would go nicely into the Yugioh story. As I got older and this story began to change to what it is now I decided to keep in this very cool character as a messenger and protector of the royal family and as a new member of the gang. As far as Lionel, well, I couldn't help but having him in the story as one of Lykaon's sons. This character was too developed in my opinion to completely scrap. So he will be seen in later chapters and throughout the saga as the family friend and doctor.

Atem was a Multi-Shape Shifter-Every version of the new saga had the idea that Atem was going to be some kind of shape shifter. Surprisingly enough he wasn't necessarily a werewolf. He was a powerful shape shifter that would be able to turn into the following: a large wolf, a werewolf, a giant raptor (yes a dinosaur don't ask where that came from cause to this day I still don't know), and a dragon. I even have a painting of Atem in dragon mode vs Anubis. I might use it for a short side story Idk, I just think the painting is really cool, especially Atem's dragon design came out great. So during revisions the first shape to be taken away was the mega raptor thingy. It was a hard decision because of the fact I already had the sketch of the creature done. So that left me with the wolf, werewolf, and dragon. The shape shifter abilities were eventually planned out to be given to all of the characters. But later on the it became incredibly difficult to explain in Yu-Gi-Oh terms how he was a shape shifter. So I got rid of the dragon. That was a really hard choice because again I had so much planned for the dragon in various scenes that were drawn up and written. Now the wolf and werewolf were left. The wolf was actually more of like a very large dog. I had more scenes with the dog than the werewolf because it was a huge part of shipping Tea and Atem. He would sneak around as a dog to see Tea at her job and other times. I thought it was so cute and I couldn't believe I decided to scrap the idea. That left the werewolf...and even that was almost ready to be scraped. I was afraid it wouldn't fit in the Yu-Gi-Oh saga. Luckily one day I was busy organizing a synchro deck (I was forced to submit to the new 5Ds rules since my fellow dueling friends got the new cards) and I needed a monster that stopped trap or magic cards. I stumbled upon Pitch Black Warwolf which had a fair attack and a great effect that didn't allow my opponent to use trap cards during the battle phase. I was looking at the artwork and I thought it looked really cool so I decided to sketch it into a large picture. While drawing the monster I remembered I was looking for a way to incorporate Atem as a werewolf. I was staring at my answer and used that monster for Atem's beast form. Later on while re-reading the Millennium World manga I then also figured out a means to give everyone one monsters within because the Yu-Gi-Oh storyline line has Ka's which are monsters within the person and some of the characters even became those monsters so it fit perfectly.

Atem's Brother Roman - Normally I hate the idea of giving people a long lost brother or sister. Especially when it makes absolutely no sense (known from experience of reading other fanfics with this concept). But the good thing about Atem's life is...well there was so much that wasn't explained. Like for instance as the usual anime standard you never see Atem's mom except for maybe one possible screen shot in the manga. Anyway Atem having a brother came in very late. Originally this character was just going to be a guardian of the Royal family. I also had another character Romeo that was a relative to Atem but not a brother. The relative and guardian character eventually merged into one as the Mystic Knight of Jackal. From there on I had a hard time explaining why this guy was so loyal to the royal family and all up in their business 24/7. So I thought it would be easier saying that Atem has a half brother (since I said the mother died). I took the concept that all pharaohs had royal harems whether they used them or not. So with all those women I figured Atem's father had to have indulged in a few girls and just by chance one of them became pregnant. Simple, possible, and reasonable... Why can't other people come up with this instead its they randomly appear out of thin air or well no one noticed the brother/sister.

Appearance of Silver Fang-Well as of chapter 18 readers might be wondering why on Earth is there a freaking talking dog (well wolf in Silver Fang's case). Originally it was just a regular family dog that used to be Atem's hunting dog from ancient Egypt(pharaoh hound to be exact). It did talk just for comical purposes and as a mood lighter but I scraped the idea thinking it was much too silly. Then I kept it as just a plain dog until I (this is not a made up story) I was looking at my cards for someone else's Ka idea and I came across Silver Fang. I then remembered in Season 4 they used a wolf to turn into Silver Fang and I decided to use this critter in my story. It keeps with the whole Yu-Gi-Oh theme, so I was happy about this decision. Why him in particular? Well, Silver Fang was one of the cards in Yugi/Atem's deck so it fit perfectly. I made this creature not only a family dog but as a crucial character to this storyline. He is like an advisor and protector to the royal family. You will learn later on that he is a great help to Atem in times of emotional distress. Silver Fang or Fang as he is called in this story has a humorous background that adds to his charismatic personality. As of now this character has also been described to be one of the caretakers of the children and has a particularly strong bonds with Keanna and Hanna. (this will be added to as the story progresses)

Keanna & Joshua - This will be discussed in different parts that I have numbered depending on the subject discussed.

1) Let's get started with what some (most likely many) people are asking about this story...why on earth did I decide to give Atem a daughter. Not only that but why is she magically 13 going on 14 and magically turned her 16 so it wouldn't be creepy blah blah blah. The daughter idea was one of the few things about this over 8 years in the fanfic that has survived my brutal criticism and editing. Her name was originally Christina but you can see how generic it is and it fit better with another character in an original story I'm writing (yes I do other things aside from fan fiction). I chose her to be a teenager for the simple fact it is easier to write and it is a better chance to have a developed character. Now that I am rewriting a lot of this story, for the purposes of character depth and a hint of a reality check for me; it made much more sense to make both Keanna and Joshua adults (age 21). Why? *dorkie voice* oh its because you are an adult now so it is easier to write blah blah blah *pushes nerdie glasses* ...No this is not why I made them adults. I'm actually older than these characters at this point. The real reason is, if these people were stuck as teenagers for like thousands of years and everyone else gets to be young adults, that just doesn't make any sense to me. It would be best to grow up even if it meant meeting their parents at similar ages.

2) Why give Atem a daughter and not a son? Let us disregard current social ideals and think about the reality of such a situation. In ancient times a son was much more valuable in the royal family than the daughters. Now while Ancient Egypt wasn't perfect as far as gender roles go, it still had a handful of queens and high ranking women. However, to work with canon and make things sound more believable, erasing someone's daughter from history is a lot easier than if I gave Atem a long lost son. Trust me Keanna holds a lot of power both physically, magically, and politically but old traditions would not give her as much pressure to follow her father's footsteps had she been born the opposite sex. Furthermore, with her being a young woman, people will care more about who she marries. Which brings up my next discussion point.

3) Joshua. I love this name. It just sounds nice. In the original version of this story I kept his name the same (unlike Keanna) and made Mahad his biological father and Mana his mother. In the rewrite as you can tell, keeping with canon this doesn't make much sense either, also the name Joshua is old as hell, but not Egyptian or Egyptian sounding. Mana was alive during King Seto's reign and Mahad was long dead...so how would they make a baby? (I'll get to Marcus again later don't worry). Having Mana have a liaison with a Hebrew servant makes Joshua's name fit and it gives drama to his social standing. This unorthodox mixed blood also provided a reason for an early death and hence him being raised by Mahad and meeting Keanna.
