In his heart he knows no destiny could be cruel enough to make him repeat this a third time, so he smiles and leaves her the secret she's trying to keep.

Following the attempt to summon Cora in 3x18, Killian has a nightmare of his own ghosts coming back to haunt him. Emma notices that he's awake and comes to talk. Inspired partially by the lyrics in the title from "Shake It Out" by Florence And The Machine.

Immediately following the events of 3x17, Killian sits alone on a bench near the docks and is eventually joined by Emma, who brought him something from Granny's.
