Time for one of my random updates.

first off, before you kill me, I have to say that Different Toys is basically dead. It didn't get enough momentum behind it for me to continue with it before I lost my old computer, and all my files with it.

If that doesn't inspire you to kill me, this next sentence might.

By These Fists is also a dead story. It is based off of elements and concepts that have all been rendered completely non-canonical. Unless i set out to write an au story. I had considered for quite some time continuing on with the fic anyways, but have come to the conclusion that, considering how most of my stories end when their basic premise dies that I hate writing non-canon fics. I consider writing to be an organic process, something where self-discovery and learning are a never ending occurance and growing experience. I'm sadened that you all have to pay for my self-discovery, but that does not change what is, and I feel that it would be wrong of me to give anything less than my all to the works that I put here to honor the writers and artists that I emulate. I do not feel that i can give my all to By These Fists at this point in time, and the story is thus dead in the water. The story will remain up so that, should I find it within myself to continue it at a later point in time, I will be able to do so.

That being said, it is entirely likely that I will have a new Naruto fic up by the end of the year. I promise nothing, but should this theoretical fic appear, it will be a crossover of Naruto with God of War (and a little bit of Age of Mythology thrown in to make things more interesting.) the premise is simple: when naruto opened the scroll of seals, he skipped kage bunshin and went straight to another jutsu. by casting it, he banished the biju back to the depths of tartarus. the catch; he is now the avatar of kratos, god of war. and the greek gods are still none-too-happy with kratos. As pantheons send avatars and a inter-pantheon cold war rapidly becomes blazing hot, Naruto finds himself stuck in the middle of it all with only one question; where's his ramen?
