Been writing fiction for a while now, normally original fantasy. Then I was captured by the story lines in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and next thing I know I'm writing fanfiction too.

When writing original fiction, my writing would always get bogged down in long, complex plots where I'd tangle myself up in knots. After about 15 years of writing I'd still never finished any of the novels I'd started and was beginning to wonder if I was even capable of it! When writing fanfic, however, I found myself working on a more manageable scale, and having regular readers encouraged me to really push to finish something. I was forced to learn how to wrap up plots with an actual beginning, middle and end, and to tie up all loose subplots. I can't tell you what a valuable lesson that's been, and I hope to learn to apply this to my other writing. Thank you for reading, which encourages me to be a better writer!

Current story statuses:

A Jedi in Sith Robes: In progress, although I've got a pretty large chunk written already that is just not posted yet. Actively working on finishing this and editing it. Most of my stories up until this point have been romances, but this one is actually a bit closer to what I used to write before starting fanfic, and is more of an adventure/drama tale. I expect it to have a harder time finding an audience, but you never know.

Chance of a Lifetime: Currently considered complete, but maybe one of these days I'll write the rest of Gryffan's story. Will probably end up being a Trooper/Elara romance if I do.

The Rescue: Was originally supposed to be a longer story, but I ended up cutting it short because I wasn't sure where to go with it.

The Game: Complete.

Thwarted Longing: Complete.

Fear and Forgiveness: Complete.

Treachery and Trust: Complete. Has also been posted to Tumblr under my account name there, ACelestialDream. I'm inactive on Tumblr however.

In the pipeline: A Theron Shan/Imperial Agent story.
