On the origins of my name: I have two cats. I love them very much, but they're completely and utterly crazy. One will eat anything green and loves certain sounds (like piano music). The other will just eat anything and randomly has to come lay on me. Even when I'm working on something. Actually, especially when I'm working on something. The 1138 bit comes from Star Wars.

I've been hanging around here for a few years, mostly reading, and occasionally writing something and not publishing it. I just recently decided to get it over with and get an account, so I can publish a few of my own stories and stop forgetting which stories I like and having to go search for them. I have a few stories I wrote a while ago currently sitting on my hard drive waiting to be finished and published, but I make no promises on when I'll get around to doing that.
