Hello fanfiction users! My name is Rosie and I am very aptly named Rosie5.

I'm originally from England and I'm pretending that real life hasn't started yet (which is what most of us do). I absolutely adore writing fanfiction as it provides a wonderful escape into the beautiful land of fiction and out of my life, which tends to on occasion suck beyond the telling of it.

My favourite fanfictions to write are Harry Potter, and I honestly don't think you will find a person more obsessed with the franchise if you searched the world. I adore the movies, which obviously will never live up to the books, but served as wonderful fillers as we waited for JK! I loathe slash as it is completely uncharacteristic and wholly unrealistic from ANYTHING JK would ever put in HP. I also dislike badly written Harry/Hermione shippers. Face it people, it was never going to happen, and if you insist on writing about it, then do it properly.

I also like to write for the Alex Rider novels, which I am sure stems from my whole "I wanna be a spy" thing. I have also written for Peter Pan as inspired by the movie.

Barr Harry Potter, I also read Margaret Atwood, Jane Austin, Phillip Pullman and Alexandre Dumas. I believe that all children should read when young and get into novels as they make so much difference to your life. My favorite films include Gladiator, The Notebook, Indianna Jones, The Horse Whisperer, An Officer & A Gentleman and GI Jane to name but a few.

Marked: By far my most read and reviewed Harry/Horcruxes story which I am very proud of and still read reviews for (thank you all for being so commitent btw!). Includes Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Harry vs Voldie and much angst. I would also like to add that it was all written BEFORE Deathly Hallows was out! Now complete.

Neither Can Live: My attempt to fill the gap of boredom before HBP came out - my initial prediction at what would happen in the end. Now complete.

Beautiful Insanity: This is a fic that I will continue (no matter what some think) but I am focusing on others currently. It explores how the whole Harry Potter verse appears in a completely real world - our world - and how ridiculous it can seem when taken out of context. Harry goes a bit batty basically.

The Space Inbetween: This is my one and only Alex Rider fic, which I continually update. It's all about Alex losing his memory and two years of his life.

The Good 'New' Days: My favourite - a Lily and James fic from love until death. I may update it at some point as it was written quite a while ago, but is still closely behind Marked in terms of popularity ...

Retrieval Failure: This was a continuation from The Good New Days to satisfy my yen for writing more Lily and James ... but I never managed to finish it. It continues on from Lily and James, happily together and about to be married, when James is attacked and loses his memory. Another one for the continuation pile ...

Young Enough to Play, Old Enough to Feel: My one and only Peter Pan fic. An obvious 'Hook returns' story, but with a crucial twist.

So there's my resume. I want to take the time to say a huge thank you to all readers of whom I am a favorite author/story - it really makes me feel all warm inside and want to continue writing. Please keep reading as widely as possible from as many different readers - everyone has an imagination.
