I have dabbled in writing all my life, but have never been inspired to write fanfic until everyone's favorite redneck came along. I'm so grateful to this website because I didn't know anyone else who watches The Walking Dead, and I was going a little nuts obsessing over it all by myself. Also, I'm psyched that I'm being inspired to write by the show, and this website, and all you great writers out there. I've only done one story so far, but I'm currently working on something new with an Original Character. I don't know what will come of it, if anything. But I am challenging myself to do something I've never done before--a sex scene. EEk. So far, it is excruciating! I must not be doing it right! ;)

Anyway, I'm American. I'm Irish by blood, Redneck by birth, and Jewish by choice, which I guess makes me a crazy loudmouth who enjoys the sound of a fiddle. I've lived in the South my entire life--my growing up years in a real backwater dump, and my adult years in a much more enlightened area. (Yes, there are enlightened parts of the South--it's not an oxymoron.) For years I've been in total denial about my redneck roots (Seriously--to the point of perfecting a Yankee accent. I have issues!), until one day recently when I realized who I'd pick from TWD to be my Zombie Apocalypse partner. (But duh--it's a no-brainer.) I'm hoping to work out all my secret redneck shame in my OC fanfic! ;) Stay tuned.
