Author has written 7 stories for Negima! Magister Negi Magi/魔法先生ネギま!. Changing profile info again, not much but here we go. My pen name came from the manga entitled ‘town of evening calm, country of cherry blossom ’(夕凪の街 桜の国) by Fumiyo Kono. I like Japanese and yunagi no machi has a nice ring to it, so it stuck. I’m a huge fan of Ken Akamatsu-sensei’s work, the top being Negima closely followed by Love Hina. Also a huge fan of Konoka x Setsuna. I’m also a member of deviantart http:///. Got a couple of works posted there so if you’re interested go check it out. Moving on. My favourite anime/manga are(just to name a few): Fairy tail, Detective Conan, Bleach, Working!! Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Sword Art Online. Though I haven't watched Anime or read manga in the past years, been too busy. It’s the plot I’m after not the huge ass sword and the all mighty power of the demon god or whatever. The only time that I don’t care about the plot is if it’s a slap-stick comedy like pani-poni-dash and sayonara zetsubou sensei. As for fanfics, I don’t particularly care about grammatical errors and typos, as long as it’s still understandable I’ll read it. I've graduated from college so now I'm in the category of "young-people-who-needs-to-learn-that-the-working-world-ain't-all-that-exciting-as-they-portay-it-on-movies-and-sitcoms" If I had little to spare for my various (sometimes strange) hobbies back in college, well more so now. I favour writing song fics and one-shots, not that they attract much attention but hey I love writing and suck at planing for future issues so, yeah. I’m pretty good when it comes to grammar. Spelling on the other hand, well I got word to go over that for me. My best friends, in writing, are the holy dictionary and the mighty thesaurus. I don’t know how I would fare without them. Unfortunately as much as I love writing I love reading more. Once I grab a nice book or find a nice story from the net it’s bye-bye real world and hello fantasy. I don’t know, but I just can’t stop once I start. I’ve actually been reprimanded a dozen of times before, for reading a book far into the night. -o-o-o-o-o-o- Tidbits: I’m nice, not a saint. Prod me enough and I’ll unleash hell. So criticisms are received quite well, but if you start flaming you better watch yourself. Apparently I’m pretty good at keeping the characters... uh... ‘in character’. It’s my writing style that frequently changes, usually depending on the last story I read. Like I wrote earlier it’s the plot I’m after so the stories I make do have a start, middle and end that actually connects and are more or less realistic. The only time I don’t follow this(realism) is if it comes to demons and magic, but I do make it as realistic as I can so no God mode or sudden burst of all mighty power that no one can stop. Personally I think that’s just a butt load of crap, unless it’s a God. I’m a forgetful person, tell me to do something right before I leave and I’ll just give you a blank stare when I return home. I’m not over exaggerating, I am that forgetful. This is why my stories tend to have long pauses in between. Of course I’ve already began writing the stories, it’s just that I’ll forget that I’ve already written one up once I get side track. If you take a look at my latest activity and compare it with my earlier works that'll be my proof for this paragraph. Another reason why I prefer song fics and one-shots is because my interest changes over a period of a month. It’s like this month I like romance, the next I’d be obsess with, say, murder and chaos. It’s my fickle personality. -o-o-o-o-o-o- Note: I should still apologize to you readers, especially the one's that got hopeful with the one multichap I put up but forgot about (twin dolls), yes, I really did forgot about it. Life got in the way, plus with the human mind always evolving... I got bored and moved on to other things. Sorry. Still making one-shots though. Also I'd like to take this time to say thank you to those that faved my works. There's not much that makes an author happy than someone taking the time to let us know that they appreciate the work we've done through faving and commenting. Again thank you very much! If you'd like I am more than happy to chat via mail, just pm me. Well, that’s it. Till next time. |
