![]() Author has written 7 stories for Hunger Games. "We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." I am Sammy H. I am this many years old. And this many feet plus inches tall. I'm pretty excited to start my second year college student. I'm currently a health-science major. I absolutely love it there. I absolutely adore the Hunger Games, but felt dissatisfied with the third book in the trilogy. My favorite sport is most likely baseball. My favorite author is the great Dr. Suess. My favorite color is bright bright yellow. I believe my best way of learning is to try and fail, then learn from my mistakes. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the greatest writer... By a long shot. But writing for me is the way I vent. All my stories have a piece of me. I actually have a list of story ideas, and right now it currently holds 15 different, future concepts. Admittedly, the majority of them are for the Hunger Games trilogy. Chapter that I am currently working on: So I am really upset with how chapter 4 of "Just Can't Quite" came out. I think I jumped the gun a little in it. I'm going to refocus my thoughts, and then I'll try to tackle the next chapter again. Also, I'm a part of a 24/24 collaboration story for the Hunger Games. So change of plans on the collaboration. It's now called 24 Tributes, 24 Wars, and my chapter comes in on the 7th chapter. My stories so far: Fix You: Currently in progress. It is highly Peeta centered, and how the torture he underwent continually affects him. It is rated M, but I think it walks a thin line between T and M. Just Can't Quite: Currently in progress. This one is mostly Katniss centered. This story is absolutely rated M for a reason. It has strong references of different types of abuse, and some language. I know I don't control who reads it, but this story is definitely intended for a more mature audience -- I do not want anyone making light of the topics it handles. My Oppression: This is under the genre "horror," but it's not going to be like a horror movie. I put it there, because some of the situations will be horrifying to the characters. I do plan on letting Katniss and Peeta have a relationship. This definitely deserves to be rated M. A Nightmare to Remember: Complete, one shot. Though I have plans of writing a multi-chapter sequel. In this story, I kept cussing at the minimal -- only adding it when I deem necessary. This story will, hopefully, leave you shocked at the end. I'd warn you not to read the reviews before reading the story, because they will ruin the ending. The Accidental Conception of Awkward: Complete, one shot. This was my first attempt at humor. I tried to put Peeta and Katniss in some incredibly awkward positions. Oh and Haymitch is in it too. It's rated M, but I think I could have gotten away with it being rated T, but I like to be safe. Stories that I'm brainstorming on (not yet published): The Kids Aren't Alright: (Name may change) This is a tragedy that I have been thinking about writing for several months now. It's going to be slightly AU, and will be told from an eleven year old Peeta's perspective. This will most likely be rated T. It will also be a one shot. The Accidental Conception of Awkward Chapter 2: If enough people are interested, I might add an extra chapter of awkwardly hilarious mush to the original one shot. Like A Knife: Sometime in the future (probably when I complete Fix You) I will write the multi-chapter sequel to A Nightmare to Remember. I plan on it not being as grisly as the one shot, and it'll explore more on how Peeta can balance his... Dare I call it "hobby"... and his relationship with Katniss. Slightly Dexter/Disturbia inspired, but the story won't have anything to do with them. Depraved: This is a new idea that has been on my mind lately. It'll be a mystery/horror story that will test the morality of people. Definitely, definitely rated M. I think it'll be the most mature (thought provoking-wise) story that I'll have published. |
