![]() Author has written 2 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Harry Potter. Well, I've finally decided that writing a profile might be a good idea. Well, either that or I'm just procrastinating when I'm really supposed to be doing school work. Whatever the reason for this, here's my profile. Try not to bore yourselves out of your minds when reading it. Introduction Yep, I'm Charlie. Hi. I love to write, and I always have done. The end. I'm from Oxford in Britain and often I have been called posh. I'm kind of used to it by now. Stuff I like I love music, I love to play and watch tennis, but most of all I love cats. They have got to the best creatures ever to walk to earth, and just about every time I see one of the street, I will get down to stroke it. As I said, I love the little guys. I won't bore you any further with any more stuff that I like. Stuff I don't like I hate it when people accuse things of doing stuff without any evidence whatsoever to substantiate their claims; that's probably the thing that annoys me most. I also don't like it when people decide that they can insult anybody and everybody online just because they are on the internet. That frustrates me. What I write I am a big fan of Harry Potter. There is so much you can write about it in the world of fanfiction, and I love to take full advantage of that. At the moment, I'm writing one about a Harry/Fleur pairing, and I'm just enjoying myself so much. There's so much scope to work with, and the people who have read and reviewed what I've written are just great. If you are one of those people, thanks! You are a pleasure to write for! I also write a bit of Percy Jackson. An ongoing story, which unfortunately I've had to put on hiatus, is my story with a Percy/Artemis pairing. The readership that I've had for that has just been astounding. Never had I ever dreamed that I would get 250 reviews for just the first third of my story. So yeah, those people who made that happen are also amazing. Favourite Books I hate choosing this, yet also love it. -Birdsong is my number one. It's by Sebastian Faulks, and the plot it basically about how a romance is affected by war, blah blah blah. -Atonement is my number 2, close behind, another romance affected by war. The great thing about this book is just how cleverly it's written, and there is literally the biggest twist in the history of everything ever at the end of the story. Okay, perhaps that's a little bit of an exaggeration. -Animal Farm is always a pleasure to read, just because of how cleverly Orwell weaved the story of the Soviet Union into the book. Clever. A few of my other random views I'ma pretty strong atheist, but I seriously couldn't care less what religion you are from unless you condone terrorism, sexism, racism, homophobia and the like. That stuff just isn't right. I guess that if you placed me on the political spectrum then I'd defo be on the left, but don't get me confused with a Communist. Although the idea of everybody being equal and living as such is a lovely idea, as a realist I've got to say that this will never happen. I just want the state to do as much for the people as possible. Cats. Love 'em. Just to stress that. That's all for now. I feel very sorry for anybody who plowed through all of that rubbish, but it's your fault for not heeding my warning at the top of the page. I told you that it would bore you out of your mind. Hope that you enjoy my stories! Charlie. PS OH MY GOD! I almost forgot to ask! I say, I say, I say. What is the difference between a weasel and a stoat? One's weasily identifiable, but the other's stoatally different. I LOVE THAT (rather weak) JOKE! |
