![]() Author has written 6 stories for Batman, Mass Effect, and Fire Emblem. An Announcement That Will Not Be Read: Honestly, it's a miracle I'm back here at all. I had fallen into the terrible excuses of (1) I'll write when I have inspiration and (2) I have other things to do. But Mass Effect 3 has returned me from the abyss. Speaking of... What with people and this massive, viral hatred of the trilogy's ending? The ridiculous amount of angry alternate endings almost made leave before I'd completely come back. To be honest, I rather liked it. I'd back it in fact. If anyone wants a flame war over it, too bad. It is Bioware's game after all. Besides, why wouldn't history continue onward? It leaves tons of room for speculation and enjoyment--which is kind of what people who write fanfiction crave in the first place. (I can't post what I think of the endings specifically in case I spoil it for anyone, but pm me if you really, really, really are that bored). And the multiplayer component is obviously where I got this bright idea: Squad Foxtrot. Squad Foxtrot is one of the spec ops squads in the multiplayer component that are always sent out to secure stuff for the good guys (and if they're anything like my history in multiplayer, they die a lot). It's my idea of a good opportunity to delve further into Mass Effect lore without stepping on toes or causing a lot of trouble. Because that's what fanfiction is all about, right? The multiplayer is almost made for fanfiction people. As for my previous projects: I will most likely be ending Cultural Differences. It was fun, great, kept me entertained, but it's time has come and gone. I don't want to make it worse by tacking stuff on after and so it will live as a fond memory. Most likely. I'm terribly indecsive and procrastinative. Meanwhile for Staff of Heaven, Sociopath, and Eccentric: they were prime examples of knowing where I wanted to go and write, but I just never did. I deserve to slapped for them. They won't be on the forefront of my mind, but I still intend to at least add to them. So if you read through all of this, now you know. Yeah. |
