![]() Author has written 11 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Kingdom Hearts, and Ouran High School Host Club. 2013: Hm. Been awhile since I updated this old thing, huh? I stopped writing for a while after my Dad died. I've been writing again lately though, and found a few old stories I never bothered to publish. It's been four years, but my love of fanfiction certainly hasn't died down. Don't know how much I'll bother posting, but might as well clear out some of my backlog of unpublished work. 2009: Well, I'm doing that thing again where I waltz through another fandom. I willlikely return to Kingdom Hearts fandom, once we get 358/2 Days in English, but until then, I'm making a brief tour of the world of Ouran High School Host Club. I actually fell in love with it years ago when it was first released in Japan, but most of us here in North America had no clue about it, so with no online fandom support I never indulged in it the way I should've. With the English dub now being here, and with a bunch of other people who enjoy the series, I'm ready to regale you with my myriad tales from diverse the world of Ouran. That's actually a complete and utter lie. To date no published story, nor any of my being worked on stories that I think will one day be good enough to publish here, contain more than two members of the cast. Two side characters at that. So if you feel like indulging in my obsessive desire to write stories for Kasanoda and Tetsuya, please feel free to read my Ouran works. I hope those two or three of you who do will enjoy. I'm keeping the next bit up, even though I'm editting my profile here, 'cause it explains an important point that without the explanation would simply result in a horrifically bad fanfiction just sitting trying to look innocent in my story list. (Actually I should note that ALL my old YGO fanfics are horrifically embarrassing to me now. sigh) "It's time I let people in on a little secret...that isn't very secret since I talked about it at a convention a while ago. The fic entitled "Master" was my attempt at making a seriously messed up fic with no redeeming value whatsoever. I tried to make a bloody violent and altogether pointless plot and making it so nonsensical that it virtually begged readers to turn away. The second part of the idea was to treat it with all seriousness, never to discuss the fact that I wrote it specifically to see what the fandom would tolerate, or else that'd taint the results. It was a really bad fic...and yet my most popular. I have no clue how that happened, except to say that apparently fans will tolerate a hell of a lot. Thus, I'm keeping it up, because it amused me that it did so well even though it was a violent, confusing and difficult piece of work. To those who liked it...fine, that's okay. I apologize if you're offended, but it was a project for me, and it taught me a lot. So I do like the story in that I learned from it. Trust me though, it offers no artistic merit whatsoever. Really. Unless your hobbies run high to torture...you might get something out of it then." Ryan_Ookami aka Silverookami |
