Hello to the types of people who check out fanfiction writers' profiles!

My name on this site is blue.but.harmless. I'm here because I love reading. I read a lot - probably an excessive amount - and I'm not upset about it. Somewhere along the line, the mass of interconnected neurons that is my brain decided that the next logical step in a life of voracious reading was to try my hand (or keyboard) at writing.

I wrote a sentence. I wrote a paragraph. I wrote a page.

And I've been writing ever since. I enjoy writing the same way as I enjoy reading; it's my escape. I write a lot of random stuff: my thoughts, feelings, personal philosophy, anecdotes, letters, and - very, very occasionally - stories.

I think people mostly read these bios to feel like they've learned something about authors; to feel connected to the person behind the words. So here are some things about me:

1) If I could, I would sleep 12 hours a day.

2) My favorite color is not blue.

3) I am the worst baseball player in the history of ever.

4) I binge-read and stress-bake like no one's business. If I have started to mass produce baked goods, something is very wrong.

5) I would rather have a tonsillectomy than eat a tomato.

6) I really, really hated reading The Awakening. It was in high school, and I'm still upset about it.

7) I know what the word "bilateral" means, it's language of origin, and how to use it in a sentence.
