The Time Tripper was born on the shortest day in the year 1965. His fascination with the colorfully clad superheroes began with the Batman TV series, most specifically the episodes which featured librarian-turned-daredoll Batgirl in her bright yellow and sparkly purple costume. Soon followed the amazingness of Saturday morning cartoons and, in seventh grade, the discovery of the gods and goddesses of Greek myth.

Early on he has written short stories of fiction, both in the genres of horror and sci-fi and has been a reader and collector of comics since the age of 12, when he first imagined being swept up in a Legion cruiser by members of the far flung group of teenaged stalwarts.

Things that inspire: Everything about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, bouncy disco and new wave music, tales of the ancient Greek Gods, the macabre artistry of Stephen King, and classic comic books from the 1970s through to the start of the new millennium. Stand out favorites are Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes, the New Teen Titans, the Micronauts, and the John Byrne/Chris Claremont Uncanny X-Men.

Currently, Tripper is in the corporate world with aspirations of having his creative ventures published, perhaps even writing and/or editing for DC Comics, Inc.

Tripper welcomes reviews of all kinds, but asks that comments are kept friendly and critiques are backed up with proper rebuttal. He resides in the suburbs of New York City with his amazing life partner and their aloof rescue cat, Little Frankie.
