So, this is the section in which I tell you a little bit about myself. Let me start with a disclaimer: as you may have noticed, my username is in Latin. I don't speak a word of it. I used a phrase book. But, everything sounds better in Latin, so there you have it. Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni!

OK, having gotten that out of the way, here's what else you need to know. I'm currently a geology major (which ROCKS! *rimshot*) with an interest in writing, so I might end up double majoring with English. I have decidedly nerdy tendencies and an obsession with Doctor Who. My favorite doctor, depending on my mood, is either the tenth or eleventh. Tenth, because he somehow reminds me of Hamlet (and, having said that, Tennant's Hamlet is EPIC); Eleventh, because when I'm fighting the flood of Tennant-associated rampant fangirliness, I always find comfort in the phrase "Bow ties are cool." Outside of fandom, I enjoy drawing, reading, skiing, and being weird. Mostly the latter.

I'm not quite sure why you need to know this, but my favorite animals are the platypus and vampyroteuthis infernalis, both of which are my favorites by merit of being awesome. And by "awesome," I mean "bizarre."

I have one brief disclaimer to make: you know, that I'm not the owner of Doctor Who or whatever other fandoms about which I feel like writing, and the only profits I glean from creating these stories are personal satisfaction and improved writing skills. This is way better than monetary gain anyway. And, since I would like to improve my writing, please feel free to leave a review describing what you liked/disliked about my work! Such comments make me incredibly happy and increase the meaningful-email-to-spam ratio of my inbox.
