Author has written 19 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Utena, and Maria-sama ga Miteru. Hisashiburi desu ne? I don't write as many fanfics as I used, nor watch that many anime titles anymore. Perhaps it's because truly good anime can now seem to be too few and too far between. I remain fond of anime with thought-provoking, unconventional and often surprising story lines, and even more so with characters who seem to leave so much unsaid. Oh, and a good dash of humor that doesn't seem out of place is always a welcome relief. I'll always have fond thoughts for a certain dashing demon-fox-turned-human from Yu Yu Hakusho (that'd be you, Kurama-san) and his erstwhile love interest (at least in my fics), that beautiful, blue-haired, bubbly spirit guide. _ That said, I will most likely leave this pairing be, since I feel I've covered enough "what-ifs" about this pairing (unless some unbidden bolt of inspiration happens to strike in the not-so-foreseeable future). I still seem to retain my affection for nobly tragic characters, from Mirai Son Gohan to one who would be like the wind (Sailor Uranus) to a girl who would rather be a prince (Utena) to one who had been trapped in within a forest of thorns, so to speak (Sei). I also enjoy getting into the heads of seemingly calm, easy-going characters who possibly engage in more musings than their natures would suggest, such as Haruhi (from Ouran High School Host Club) and Youko (from the ever-wonderful Maria-sama ga Miteru). I remain introspective and though not quite so angst-ridden, a drifter who thrives on challenges while searching for that next great anime to write about. Generally amiable person. Really. ;) |
