You won’t be surprised to know that if you type into Google ‘What makes a good profile’ that the results are almost endless; the world and his wife seem to have logged it and given their two cents worth. The advice is, however, on the whole, uninspiring. In a cyber world of perfect strangers, grammar nazis and trolls, there seem to be an umpteen number of pitfalls just waiting to trap the unsuspecting browser. I could begin by telling you my many interests, hobbies, perhaps even my life’s aspirations; all of course in exceptionally eloquent, if somewhat flowery, English: Anything but plain, and nothing if not simple. However, I’d quite like to keep you interested, entertained; perhaps even enough for you to scroll down and peruse my collection, albeit a small one, of published work. I’d like to make you laugh, or smile at least; so here I go back to the question. What makes a good profile?

I'm a woman, who is far too concerned with clothes, shoes and make up most days, who is looking for a means of escapism. And this I tell you is why I've 'returned' to writing fanfiction.

I'm always attracted to people who are the proverbial 'baddies' in fiction, there's just something really hot about them sometimes. I love to read; fantasy is my favourite genre and I love to ship pairings that hardly anyone else does. The pairing that I'm shipping overtime at the moment is Philippa/Síle/Triss, variation on and not necessarily together... although that could work too. I'm fascinated by folklore, tarot, stories, myths and most unusual things will pique my interest. I adore classic film and don't you find that there's just something magical about watching people in black and white?

Interests: Fantasy, reading, art... obscure much.

Oh come on, it's not a proper ff profile without a whimsical and obscure quote slapped on its arse...

So peruse my various literary offerings, but I beg thee not to get too attached because I a lazy bugger who never finishes anything.
