Disclaimer: I just noticed there's no disclaimer in my second story, The Serpent's Tongue so just to clarrify, I still don't own Harry Potter (darn it!) and for future reference - in case I forget again - it is highly unlikely that I shall ever own Harry Potter. JK Rowling owns all the characters and places in my stories that you recognise from the Harry Potter series and is also to blame for my inspiration.

Canon: Anything that is published in the Harry Potter book series is kept to in my story 100%, all my work is carefully researched and if I do make any mistakes then I apologise in advance. However, as I started writing these stories BEFORE Pottermore and other info was released by JK Rowling, anything which is not in the books is not going to be 100% canon. New information is released constantly and I can't keep changing my characters etc. Please keep this in mind. The main changes in my stories are to the families of Bill, Charlie, Percy, George and Draco Malfoy, also a couple of careers but nothing majorly plot-relevant has been changed. Everything else is taken in the books (including the epilogue).

My dearest readers, please let me first of all take this opportunity to say how vey grateful I am to each of you for your support. 4 years into this and I've come to a point where I can no longer deny that the demands of adulthood and the "real world" are truly overpowering my love and dedication to the stories below. I'm not quitting, I am so far from giving up the joy that I have found writing these books and sharing them with you. However, you deserve an explanation (I didn't drop off the face of the earth, I'm still alive! And I still love to write!) Recently, i've just had so many wonderful opportunities (in addition to the demands of ordinary life) - they have been things that I couldn't miss out on and I've been under time pressure. I wish I could explain better (but this is the internet and not a place for my life story). I hope you can continue to have patience with me or even to be happy for me. Please just know these 3 things;

I'm still here. I'm still writing. I'm so so grateful for everything you give me - your attention, your patience and all your kind words.

Well there it is, 3 years, 70 chapters and 168,390 words later - The Serpent's Tongue is complete.

But the story's not over yet - Book 3 is on its way and maybe this time it'll contain more answers than new mysteries (but I doubt it). Find out The first chapter should be up sometime in mid-June, I hope you're as excited as I am!

So, it's ALMOST Christmas BUT it's NOT Christmas therefore it's just a terrible busy time of shopping, exams and trying to get everything done that needs doing before Christmas. I guess what I'm saying is that i haven't updated in the last week or two (or three possibly) BUT I will get straight on back to writing this weekend! Hoorah!

The only thing left to ask is what to write. I mentioned before the possibility of doing a cute one-shot on a less focussed upon character in the name of the season - so, if I'm feeling a little Christmassy and decide to write something festive, who would you like to see as a protagonist in this one off Christmas special! Make suggestions in reviews/messages and I'll add them to the poll above and then VOTE! No seriously, please vote. No one ever bothers and it's just depressing :(

Whoa! Yesterday was the third birthday of my fanfiction account! Yay! I feel like celebrating but I don't really have any idea how to celebrate the day I started posting my stories online... I guess I should really do some writing! It seems the most appropriate thing!

I have now officially been a member of fanfiction.net for 2 years! It's gone by so quickly! Thank you everyone for your continued support! I can't believe it's been 2 whole years since I put up the first chapter of 'The Secret Treasure of Hogwarts', I can still remember my excitement as I watched the first hits appear on my story. As I continue to write and share stories I still get so much enjoyment and pleasure from being a writer on this site and hopefully I'll be around for a good time more!

Hey everybody! Guess what? I just put up the new cover for The Secret Treasure of Hogwarts!!! I hope you all like it! It took a long time to make but it's finally complete and I'm really happy with it! I'll be making one for The Serpent's Tongue at some point too but it might not be for a while because at the moment I just want to concentrate on writing it.
