![]() Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter. A different life than the one I'd have drawn, but trying to write it large across the page. More information: Sex: Female Age: 33 (Good God) (I feel so old) Marital Status: Married, 7 years Sign: Aries Currently working in the Harry Potter world, though my general reading preferences are far, far removed from HP. I suppose the universality of the stories allows for more room to play. I go across the spectrum, but tend to prefer well-written AU stories (what can I say? I refuse to accept that Fred is dead!) to canon-compliant, but I like for there to be firm structure and internal logic that works within the greater world JK Rowling created. What's the point of fan-fic if you just blindly fill the tiny gaps left by the author, eh? I like Harry/Ginny (probably because I got into the series too late to pick up an interest in anything else), but don't care for Ron/Hermione. In fact, I greatly prefer a twin with Hermione. Partially in the vein of opposites attracting, but more along the lines of the twins not really being so different from Hermione when they are all grown up and begin to understand the world is not black and white. Of course, I tend to flesh out the twins a lot more than JKR ever did. They are easily my favorite characters in the series. I like marriage law fics or fics that otherwise impose an outside stressor on the characters - so I'm a little mean. And possibly lazy. I've grown to accept it. -o0o- Right, been awhile since I updated this, but hey-o, why not? Just saw Deathly Hallows p2 (07/15/11) and wow. Quite good! I had expected to be a total mess with Fred's death, but it was of the blink and you miss it variety. That and the fact that in the 10 seconds we saw dead-Fred, his head was on the pillow, it's startlingly easy to continue in my belief that Fred was simply knocked out. . . -o0o- (May 12, 2012) Thanks for all the well wishes! Nothing is abandoned or on permanent hiatus, but I temporarily stopped working on most of my fics during the latter half of my pregnancy because it was so high-risk and because I was so stressed out. I am pleased to announce that my daughter V was born healthy and well, full-term, on May 1. I am ready to get back to writing - the words that were choked up by stress and fear before are ready to pour out. However, baby girl has a few demands that require my attention first. Be patient, please. Updates will come as I can find time. |
