Author has written 4 stories for Twilight, and Veronica Mars. May 7, 2012 Hello fellow Fanfic readers. Just updating my profile page to share the good news. Dreaming at Dawn has been nominated for a She Wolf Award: Most Inventive Leah/OC -- Voting Starts May 21 http:/// I have to admit I am a little excited, but also sad because I am in the middle of moving and don't have much time to write :(. As for the rest of my profile what can I say? I hate this sort of stuff. Obviously I have read all the twilight series, I must admit I did not really like it the first time through. Yes, yes I know it is heresy for me to say that. Then I found out about Midnight Sun, and I read the series one more time; to me it made more sense to the point where I almost wished Ms Meyer had written the entire series form Edwards point of view. I started writing the Twilight Fanfic simply because that is what I have been reading the past couple of months. I really enjoyed comparing Twilight with Midnight sun, I think Ms Meyers has done an awesome job integrating the two. My only issue is she needs to finish it (Grrrrrrr). I have been dreaming up fan fiction in my head for as long as I can remember, I just did not know it was called fan fiction. I created a family, more like a dynasty; they were created from ideas I got from twenty years of voracious reading. Needless to say they span several genres but I kind of like fantasy and romance. My husband thinks this is amusing considering I am a total science geek. Favorite book of all time: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I just love how strong Elizabeth Bennet is, how brave she is. It also helps, Colin Firth as Mr Darcy, both the book and the movie are worth your time. Favorite Movie: I have so many, though right now I am somewhat obsessed with North and South. The BBC adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's book by the same name. It has Richard Armitage (those blue eyes), beautiful period costumes, not to mention a strong heroine (yes this seems to be a trend with me). The best part of it all, Richard Armitage does not ruin it for me when he gives an interview, he comes out sounding like an intelligent and caring person. Nothing drives me more bokers than watching a movie where you are supposed to fall in love with the hero but all the time you are thinking of the last interview they gave where they pretty much giggled and could not answer on question coherently. Favorite TV show: Bones. Again strong female paired up with hot guy. I have to admit I like my eye candy, I should not say that, I happen to like Booth as a person not just for his body. I like my eye candy to be smart. Favorite Music: I have to admit I grew up with the classics, Beethoven is the man especially when you consider he composed all that music while deaf; he broke all sorts of rules and started I think a whole new genre of music. I am somewhat of a music whore, I like most of it, NIN, Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Britney (only one song I swear and it is the really cool dance mix version of it), Garbage, The Smiths. Favorite Quote: I don't repeat gossip, so listen carefully. -- (Very bad character flaw of mine, bad, bad. If you tell me a secret make sure I understand I am not supposed to tell anyone.) There you go, how did I do on my profile? |
