HELLO WORLD!

My name is Lillian Cloud, and I am an amateur writer who has an unhealthy obsession with anime!

Currently, I am working on my long-term project A Different Kind of Magic, featuring a Howl Jenkins x OC pairing. I say long term because I am a painfully slow updater and am easily demotivated. This is the reason why I should probably just stick to one-shots and short ficlets; they're written a lot faster so I don't lose inspiration.

Nevertheless, I hate abandoning any of my fics so you should be happy to note that none of my stories will ever be left unfinished. The ones that haven't been updated in a while are just on a short-- or long-- hiatus. They will be finished, though... eventually...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading my stories! I would be beyond ecstatic if you could leave a review once in a while. Although, honestly, I'm pretty happy even if you just skim through a chapter. Thank you so much for taking an interest in my writing! I'll try my best not to disappoint!

I've been spending so much time self-isolating that I'm not sure I know how to interact with people anymore. I know I'm doing the right thing, because I need to protect the immunocompromised seniors I live with. But the existential questions just won't leave me alone. I feel like keeping busy will help, but no matter what I do, it's never enough. Why is it that my self-worth always has to come from others. Why can't my own beliefs be enough! #LowSelfEsteemProblems #WorkInProgress But anyway, short online diary entry aside, I hope everyone's doing as well as they can during these crazy times. Blue Exorcist came out in 2011. The movie came out in 2012. The second season came out in 2017. But for some reason, inspiration to write for one of my all-time favourite animes struck halfway through 2020 during a pandemic, no less. How does creativity in my brain work? Well, it boldly decides screwing readership popularity would be a good idea, but then it realizes too late that it actually needs readership acknowledgment to survive. Ah well. I will continue to dig my own grave. I don't mind. Not at all. But seriously, thanks to all the readers who have followed, favourited, and reviewed. You guys keep me going!

Alright, the seventh chapter is now up. Now for a little insight on the story. I started writing this story when I was in grade 7 and back then, my writing was shit. And who's to say my writing still isn't shit? I'm an amateur author but I'm doing the best I can. Any feedback for this story would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea how I'm going to improve on the plot. It's sort of just a cluster of things that don't make sense to me right now. But nonetheless, let's see what happens.

I know said I didn't like abandoning my fics, and I don't like going back on my word... But Shippuden has finished airing, and I'm still stupidly searching for the lost cause that is inspiration. I hope I find it someday. It'll probably be the day I decide I actually want to try finishing Shippuden. But until then, I'm putting this story on an indefinite hiatus. My sincerest apologies to all the readers who are following or have favourited the fic. I grew up on Naruto. I'm sure there will come a day where I will want to relive my childhood. I hope to see you all again on that day.
