![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Myself: Good day! I live in the states (Arizona, to be exact) and positively adore FanFiction. It started off as me not having the funds to go out every other day to buy new books, but it's grown into a love for this site and the creative people that run it. I enjoy reading Harry Potter, anything set in the Victorian era (Catalina de Aragón is my hero, who I actually happen to be named after) and nerdy, non-fiction books about the universe. I'm pursuing a health professions career, and I cannot wait to be finished with the University scene. Settling down in a lovely little home that isn't surrounded by college kids sounds positively fantastic. Yourself: To enjoy my stories, it's not entirely necessary to be a Harry Potter fanatic. Of course, that does help to spur obsession, but I do not parallel JK Rowling's wonderful storyline throughout all of my writing. What's on the table: My current story, The Rebellion, hasn't been updated nearly as much as I would like, but we can blame that (as well as all of life's troubles) on school, eh? The story follows Harry and Ginny through Harry's fifth year; events are not canon, and after the first ten or so chapters, you'll quickly see why! I'm also working on a mythological Harry Potter series. It's a Hermione/Draco tale, but it's not your usual smutty tale (at least, my perverted mind hasn't turned it that direction yet). I think my readers will enjoy its new take on their relationship, as soon as I get some work done on my first story. I enjoy writing lengthy one-shots. I've tried to write stories in under 2,000 words, but it simply doesn't seem to work. I'm no Hugo, but I enjoy details and I think stories that lack them lack that component of literature necessary to capture my imagination. I tend to gravitate toward writing one-shots when I've been unable to write for a while and I need a warm up, or when the Nargles get at me and steal all of my creative genius. Have an idea you want to see incorporated into a story? Message me and we'll see what we can do! I enjoy nearly all pairings; Hermione tends to be my favorite female character to write with because I feel she's very versatile. I especially enjoy seeing her paired with the twins, but I'm open to just about anything. :) Just a quick authors note: I'm easily distracted by my school work (yes, it is important!) and my friends (whom I love dearly!). I will fall victim to endless guilt trips if they are done tactfully. Unless it is finals week, feel free to kick my ass into writing-gear with some helpful feedback/encouragement. That being said, I will happily ignore and messages of distastefulness toward my writing style. I solemnly swear that Fred never died and George wears blue boxers! I am a member of the Twin Exchange. |
