![]() Author has written 7 stories for X-Men: The Movie, House, M.D., and Avengers. Disclaimer: I do not own anything. I am not making money from anything I write. I write purely for entertainment. As my penname indicates I’m reserved, at least in person, and I’m a (female) college student who loves books, movies and TV, so this site is the perfect place to let my imagination run wild. What you should know about my stories: 1. I am not majoring in English. I have a difficult time with grammar, particularly those pesky commas. However, I will do my best to check and re-check anything I post. Feel free to point out any mistakes—it can only improve my writing. 2. I will only post stories that I've already completed or have a strong outline for. I hate it when authors leave their stories unfinished, and I don’t want to do that to anybody. 3. I gladly accept any reviews; everyone is entitled to their own opinion. 4. I haven’t read every story here so I apologize if what I write has been done to death. 5. I usually review what I read, but I get easily distracted which leads to me forgetting altogether. I will review eventually, and I usually leave some lengthy ones. The pairings I enjoy reading and/or writing about are (in alphabetical order): Black Widow/Hawkeye (Avengers) The mysterious and deep relationship between the two characters stood out the most in the movie. Their shady past makes it very interesting to read how they went from enemies to teammates. There’s rich history between the two and that makes for some incredible stories, not to mention they're both human and can still kick some butt. Black Widow/Iron Man (Avengers) I liked the flirtatious chemistry between them in Iron Man 2, and it would be interesting to explore their dynamic. She's one of the few women Tony can't rattle so easily and I do believe that can make for some interesting situations. I enjoy reading both romance and friendship, but I do find it interesting that they were once engaged in the comics... Batman/Gordon (Batman Begins/Dark Knight) After Bruce Wayne, Gordon is my favorite character. I particularly enjoy reading about Gordon discovering Wayne’s secret; I’m hoping we get to see it play out on screen. Wayne needs a friend other than just Alfred, and who better to fit that role than the man Batman trusts to help him fight crime? Chris/Piper (Charmed) I thought Chris was a wonderful addition to the show, but he spent so much time hiding his secret that we didn’t get to see much mother/son bonding. I enjoy reading anything fluff-filled or angst-ridden when it comes to these two. Leo/Piper (Charmed) The love between Piper and Leo was the heart of the show. I was so happy when their separation proved not to be permanent. I like exploring their life together, raising their magical family, in between or after all the hardships. Ginny/Harry (Harry Potter) Ah, my favorite book series, I felt that Harry and Ginny didn’t get to spend much time together in the books so why not continue their story? I’d rather not mess with the world Rowling has created; I’ll stick to canon. Hermione/Ron (Harry Potter) Again, another pairing in the world of HP that didn’t get the chance to shine as much as it could have, but we all saw it coming, didn’t we? I always thought Ron and Hermione were amazing heroes—not sidekicks—so I’m wary of how true to character their portrayals will be. I’m just picky. That said, there are some amazing fics with them out there. Chase/Thirteen (House, M.D.) There is only one other pairing I love more than this one. Their chemistry is amazing! There seems to be a genuine friendship between the two that I don’t think they had with their previous partners. The show hinted at this couple quite a bit—at least to me it did—but it seems like that ship has sailed with Thirteen’s departure. Now the pairing must be kept alive through fanfiction alone. Arthur/Eames (Inception) These two are my favorite characters from the movie. Their constant bickering gave off a brotherly vibe, and I think exploring that relationship would result in some very amusing tales. When it comes to this pairing I favor friendship over romance. Quorra/Sam (Tron) To be honest, apart from the amazing visuals, the movie wasn’t great. However, I do feel there is potential with this pairing. Quorra is a character very much open to interpretation, and Sam compliments her well. It’s interesting to speculate how their bond would advance off the Grid. Cyclops/Rogue (X-Men: The Movie) If I had to choose for myself, I would choose Cyclops over Wolverine. He’s the classic “good guy,” and don’t we all at least deserve the chance to find someone like that? Cyclops and Rogue have so much in common. Both have uncontrollable mutations and some Logan/Jean issues. There is a lot of potential between them; it’s a pity there aren’t more fics with this pairing. Cyclops/Wolverine (X-Men: The Movie) Not a romantic pairing, but a friendly one… or maybe not quite so friendly. I love to read about the trouble these two can get into with their butting alpha-male egos. Should Rogue get caught in the middle… well then, bonus! Rogue/Wolverine (X-Men: The Movie) This is my absolute favorite pairing! There are an incredible amount of reasons why I love them together, none of which I’ll mention here. It would take too long! I prefer a Wolverine who is rough around the edges but still has a protective and honorable side. I prefer Rogue to be portrayed as mature, independent, and flawed. I think I’ll end my profile here. I want to get back to reading/writing. Thanks! |
