![]() Author has written 14 stories for Dawn of the Dead, Star Wars, and Warhammer. Name: Rhoades (a nod to one of the best bad guys in one of the best zombie movies of all time, I'm sure you guys know who I mean) aka Yoyo... don't ask. Age: Not telling so don't ask. Let's just say that I'm young enough to still make mistakes and old enough to know the error of my ways. I like to write, as anyone who reads my stories will testify. I like to draw, and I read ... A LOT!! I love reading fantasy and also sci-fi, but my favourite is, and will always be horror. One of my favourite authors is Stephen King (the man is a god in my eyes, I have grown up reading him and will continue to do so until I draw my last breath. Cell is probably the best of the 'alternative' zombie stories.) I also love zombie fiction (not reading it would negate my time on this site) I have read, several times ... Briane Keene - If you haven't read The Rising / City of the Dead, and Dead Sea I urge you to do so immediately. David Moody - Autumn. Not much more to say, probably the best, and most well known zombie series written. (Alternate zombie fiction, but great anyway; Hater and Dog Blood are awsome.) Z. A. Riect (I appologise about the spelling). Plague of the Dead, Thunder and Ashes, Survivors David Wellington - Zombie Island,Zombie Nation,Zombie Planet. If people reading this also like horror here are some reccomendations; Robert R. MacCammon - Swan Song, Stinger. Brian Lumley - Necroscope I know it might be a grind (15 books and counting :) ) and not techniacally zombie fiction, but read it, you won't be disappointed. (Don't worry there are zombies in it). So, everyone grab a shotgun, make sure you have spare shells, and before you open the door to the outside dead world, ask yourself this one burning question; Do you want to go out of this world on your feet swinging and shooting, cursing with your last breath, or begging for your life on your fucking knees? Be safe, be well, and always keep a round in the chamber. - C. Rhoades - |
