Hello. I'm Mr. Blankie, and I read fics and leave reviews on my favorite ones.

I'm a tan, fluffy Chenille Blanket, and I'm a great cuddler. A little about my past:

I was born of the sweat shops of Guatemala, created from sub-standard materials and hastily constructed. I was bound and packed into a box with dozens of other blankets, just like myself, and shipped to the States to a land called Wal-Mart. Being a plain, tan blankie I watched as all my brightly colored brothers and sisters were picked and carried off to their new homes. There I sat, for what seemed like eternity.

One day, just as I had resolved to living my life on a dusty shelf, a lovely lady stopped at my "SALE!" aisle to look at the left over blankets to see who was left. I never even hoped that she would choose me, but she did. Forever, Liz picked me! I'll never forget the first time she ran her soft, smooth hands over my folds. It was the gentle touch of a mother, and the warm caress of a friend. I knew I had found my home.

She tucked me into her basket and carried me home, where I have two cat siblings who love to cuddle with me when Liz is not at home. It's while Liz is at work that I do most of my reading, but I prefer to snuggle up in her lap and read as she writes or read whatever she's reading at the time. While I love reading all sorts of stories, the fluffy ones are my favorite. It's because of my love of the fluff that I have earned the reputation of being a "wussperv"- one that is skeered of the angst and other scary stuff. I hate snot, it's a disgusting bodily fluid, and don't even get me started on my dislike of cat hair. (it tickles!)

I have a time tested rating system that I use to rate the fics I read:

1 Blankie=Safe for all wusses of fandom, no serious angst

2 Blankies= Mild Peril (Someone's gonna get it, but it shouldn't hurt the readers too badly)

3 Blankies= Certain heartfail (tears will be involved at some point)

4 Blankies= Tissue Alert (Angst Abounds! You would be best off to have a box of Klenex on hand, 'cause we ALL know how much Mr. Blankie HATES getting snot on him!)

5 Blankies= Snot Sob! (Forget the tissues, just use Blankie, things are uber bad in the fic and will only get worse. No happy endings here! Move along people, nothing happy to see here!)
