Um... Well... I got this account because I've been reading fanfiction, and wanted to take a stab at writing some of my own.

I am an American teenager, of the female variety, most commonly known as a fan-girl. But I will not disrupt that which is cannon to get my favorite characters together. I will find a reasonable and canon-approved way, instead!

Some of my favorite shows are Doctor Who, Torchwood, Demons, Life on Mars, Supernatural, Pushing Daisies, and Glee.

I also love to read, although I never seem to have time. Some of my favorite books are: the Harry Potter series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, My Sister's Keeper, It's Kind of a Funny Story, The Notebook, the Inheritance series (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr), The Outsiders, Peter Pan, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

I love both Doctor Who and Torchwood, and my favorite pairings for them are:
Ten/Rose
Nine/Rose (on occasion, I always thought of their relationship as platonic, you know?)
Jack/Ianto
Gwen/Rhys (anyone who's not Jack, really.)
Tosh/Owen
Master/Lucy
I'm even beginning to like Mickey/Martha a little, although I don't really know how she got someone as awesome as him... :)

I am not ashamed to admit that Doctor Who and Torchwood have made me cry on three separate occasions: "Doomsday", "Children of Earth Day Four", and "The End of Time Part Two". I was also quite upset about the end of Journey's End, because I believe that the Doctor could have stopped himself from ending up so alone.

Um... I really hope my stories are enjoyed, and if you ever want to talk with me just PM me, and I'll be sure to respond as soon as I can!

My friend and I were discussing cheesy pick-up lines a little while ago, and she mentioned a Doctor Who one she had seen on a LJ, for the Fourth Doctor - "The scarf ain't the longest thing on me, know what I'm sayin'?"
Since then I have been trying to find some good ones, but they are annoyingly hard to find.

So, I've got a challenge for you, my dear readers (or people who happened to stumble across my humble profile). It's a fairly simple challenge, but it should be fun.

All you have to do is come up with the best Doctor Who related pick-up line you can.

You can PM me with it, and I'll eventually compile them into a poll for people to vote on their favorites!

I'll start you off with a fairly obvious one:
"Hello, I'm Captain Jack Harkness. Who, may I ask, are you?"
