Author has written 6 stories for Resident Evil, Black Lagoon, and Silent Hill.
As well as writing fanfiction I've written original stories too. Just a silly dream of one day publishing something, though honestly that's something I'd love to happen in the future. I've been working hard on my original stuff and constantly try to improve myself. I posted a short story a few years ago on Fictionpress called "Feed Me!". The link is here http://www.fictionpress.info/s/2962267/1/Feed-Me. Its pretty dated now, but if anyone would like to check it out that would be cool. I'd love to know what people think. MY FANFICS Secrets Revealed: I have spent so much time on and off with this story. I've enjoying working on it. I remember being so nervous when I posted the very first chapter because there were (and still are) so many good writers on here, so it was a little bit intimidating to begin with. I received a lot of encouragement to continue with it, so thank you to everyone who stuck with it all this time. I always wanted some kind of follow on from Resident Evil 4, as 5 jumped away from my favourite characters in the series. There are OC's in the story too, which I know aren't always popular depending on how they're being used. In all honestly though (and with respect to other writers) I felt that too many fics were bringing back the same villains over and over and felt that maybe a few new antagonists were needed. Forever Changed: UPDATE!! I'm putting this story on hold. I haven't worked on it for a long time. I've kinda lost interest in it if I'm honest and I'm sorry to everyone who has been following it, I really have appreciated all the positive feedback, so thank you! If I come back to this fic I will include an update right here. This story was supposed to be my sequel to the second season of the Black Lagoon anime series. Because I'm a big fan of Rock and Revy and their growing relationship I wanted to see where I could take things with them whilst in the middle of something truly chaotic. I've posted 5 chapters for this story so far. So Long, Leon: This is my oneshot so far. It was originally intended as a scene for a sequel to "Secrets Revealed", but I had the idea to turn it into a oneshot, strangely enough while I was bored stiff working a night shift. The story changed a lot from the original scene I'd imagined, but I pretty much wrote it in just a day so its one of the quickest things I've ever written. Out of the fics I've worked on its actually my favourite. Its told from Ada's perspective and set after the events of the CGI movie Resident Evil: Damnation, and explores Ada's feelings regarding her long history with Leon. I had thought at first to write it from Leon's point of view, but oddly enough I couldn't help but do it this way. It just seemed to fit better somehow. I can't believe how many people liked it. That being said I'm really happy that people enjoyed it. Thank you so much to everyone who read and enjoyed it. I'm really grateful for the support! Caught Within The Mist There were quite a few people that wanted a oneshot from Leon's perspective as a sort of companion piece to "So Long, Leon". At first I'd never intended to write one, but after so many people suggested I do one idea's began to stir all on their own and I decided to write a short story instead. I took it in a slightly different direction than I had first planned. It details Leon's memories of "That Night". Any true Leon/Ada fan will probably know what I'm referring to. It goes back and forth from that specific encounter to a mission that Leon has been sent on. Waiting For You I mentioned in my profile at one point that I was thinking of doing a story that detailed James Sunderland's experiences during the events of Silent Hill 2. It pretty much covers the events of the second game, which is one reason why I'm questioning whether I'll update the story at all. It was originally intended to give more insight into James' character. But in all honesty the game details all of James' inner turmoil and all the various pieces of symbolism without any help from me. It would be like me writing a novelization of The Last of Us. Some stories belong in the mediums that created them, and tell what they need to tell just fine. Constructive Criticism: While I do enjoy a compliment here and there (and lets face it, who doesn't?) I'm still constantly learning how to be a better writer. If there is any advice you would like to throw my way then by all means go for it. Anything that bugs you or what you feel could be done better, please let me know. However the one thing that has irritated me before is the odd occasion when someone has told me what to write. I appreciate discussion on what could happen next, but there have been times when people have made comments such as "You should do this instead" or "make that character like this". That's pretty vague I suppose, but still, if I were to listen and rewrite things to the liking of certain readers then I wouldn't be writing my story any more. I'd be writing theirs instead. If said readers feel so strongly then they are always free to write their own stories. I hope that doesn't offend anyone as its only a small number of readers who have made those kinds of comments. One thing I will always do is write what I want and how I want to write it. If people like what I write, and I certainly hope they do, then that's an added bonus. But first and foremost my priority is the story itself, and I write those for me. Resident EvilWhat can I say? This is been my favourite game series since Resident Evil 2. After playing that game for the first time my enthusiasm for the series was unstoppable. My favourites in the series (and I'm sure this won't surprise anyone who has read my fics) are Resident Evil 2 and 4. Though I will say that the Gamecube remake of the first game is easily one of the best as well, and definitely one of the truest examples of the survival horror genre. The series has changed so much since Resident Evil 4, and has had its ups and downs along the way, but on the whole I still find the games following 4 to be enjoyable in their own way, even if they're not made in the traditional style. And then of course there are the movies, which I have to say I'm not a fan of. A fan of the movies once said to me that Resident Evil 4 wasn't Resident Evil because there were no zombies. If people believe that 4 isn't a true RE game then a lack of zombies (in my opinion at least) wouldn't be the reason for it, but most likely the game play change. After all the game series is really a story about survivors that just happens to have zombies here and there, while the movie series is a story about zombies that just happens to have RE characters. Other GamesI have to admit, I don't play games as much as some might think. I'm extremely particular about the sort of games I like, so I usually have to wait a while for something I like to come out. I love the original Silent Hill series, particularly 2 and 3, with everything after Silent Hill 4: The Room leaving a lot to be desired. But that's just my view. I originally liked Downpour during my first playthrough but found that it lacked a lot of staying power during a second play. And the movies: The first one is ok. The second is a chaotic jumble wooden acting and ridiculous plot points. It actually made me laugh more than anything else and left me baffled that it was ever made to begin with. Obviously that's just my opinion. Anyone who enjoyed them, good for you! Everyone likes different things and (my ranting aside) I'm happy that people enjoy what they do without taking my views to heart. I really love the Uncharted series! 3 games that feel like playing in the middle of a movie. The graphics are amazing, the story is interesting. The dialogue is witty and the voice acting is some of the best of ever heard in any game. Just like The Last of Us, also by Naughtydog. And then there's that game, which takes things to a whole new level in terms of story telling in videogames, of what people will do when they're tested, and what drives them to do the things they do. A very heart felt story and very well crafted over all. Not sure if I'll ever write a fanfic for those games. But if I ever do I'll announce on my profile first. Oh my god! The Evil Within! The new franchise in my life. I can't believe how much I liked this game, with its eerie atmosphere, grotesque creatures, and interesting story. I agree with some reviewers that the main characters personalities left a lot to the imagination. Something they may want to work on if they plan on doing a sequel, and honestly I hope they make one. The story itself though is told in quite a vague way, though I never saw this as a negative. It left players to fill in some of the blanks themselves whilst posing other questions that future instalments (including the recently released DLC "The Assignment" which I definitely enjoyed playing) will no doubt provide answers for. Its a growing story in a brand new game series and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next. Dark-Knight27's Top 10 Games: 1. Resident Evil 4 2. The Last of Us 3. Silent Hill 2 4. There are so many different books and authors that I like so I can't really list them all. I think I read more books than watch movies or play games. I've come across a lot that I love, a lot that I hate. And I'll admit there are a few guilty pleasures in there as well, though I guess I'm not the only one with those. My favourite authors span the globe, and I'll read translations of novels from any country so there is so much out there that I've got to choose from. And believe me, I'm running out of space to put books :). I do have an e-reader and I do use it from time to time, but for me nothing beats a real book with pages I can physically turn myself.
