It is with regret that I have made the decision to stop supporting Fanfiction.Net, due to recent policy changes. The cost of support services have been reduced, but so has many of the benefits, including ad blocker/banner blocker.

Fanfiction.Net has made the decision to alienate many of its members, including paying members, by banning the posting of NC17 rated stories. Having greatly appreciated the freedom of expression previously allowed on ("unleash your imagination and free your soul") I do not wish to support or use an archive which censors such material.

I also think that it was in incredibly poor taste to have chosen to make the changes under the cover of a September 11th memorial flag. It cheapens the gesture which I previously respected the administrators for making.

I'm deeply disappointed that the money I have paid to the administration for support services will be used in any manner for funding this disgrace.
